What's the killer app that's gonna make headsets fly off the shelves?
idk
maybe
Half-Life: The Pre-Sequel
For me? It's tha knuckles.
does it work with artifact, mite be neat
For me it's tha pron...
So what will this headset have over the other ones?
that was a tech demo game, most vr games use different UI and gimmicks, so if that is patented, no good games will use it
Imagine if Half-Life 3 gets announced as a VR exclusive, it's honestly the only way I can see the game getting made at this point.
The fucking asshurt would be astronomical.
Knuckles controller
High fov
Valve
At least Vive Pro resolution
Add-on slot
the rest is a mystery
if it comes with hl vr then im gonna mod it and create my own hl3 on source2 with mouse&keyboard gameplay
based
I forgot to mention the double fresnel lenses which are apparently going to be a big deal since the logo is based around it.

Gabe thinks of everything.
I don't even want the knuckles for the gimmicky finger tracking that's never going to work properly, I just want controllers that aren't complete cancer and piss like the fucking wands, what in the holy mother of fuck were they thinking with those fucking things?
Let us have a moment of silence to mourn the user who got his Samsung the exact day Valve announced the index. He didn't off himself, but still what irony.
I wish Gabe was my dad
They gave out the knuckles by the thousands to devs and reviewers and they say it's great, it's basically the best of gloves + traditional controls combined without any of the serious drawbacks.
Is psvr the only headset compatible with ps4? how good is it?
since NMS is getting VR support, I'm interested in it.
For me, VR is a meme gimmick fad that is already over.
'HLVR' and two other almost completely unknown Valve games. Boneworks. Porn games.
Friendly reminder that this entire rumor comes literally ONLY from Tylers 'triangulation verified' anonymous sources.
It's a feature of the controller, multiple games that use them support it.
Ah, poorfag. Have you run out of HRT refills already?
oh fuck, I'm sorry for spreading a tylerism
>Pros

So, in a couple of months I'll be moving to a new place/country and I plan to set up a room in my new apartment with the only purpose of being a game room with strong focus on VR.
What's the best headset + controller combo I'll be able to buy then? Should I go all in with the Valve Index thing if it releases on time? Should I wait for it instead of buying another headset? I've been planning to get into VR for ages but I've always been waiting for "next gen" before doing so...
youtube.com
Boneworks looks like it could sell VR units, Valve should hire the guys doing Pavlov and have them make a version that is Counter Strike in VR
Can anyone recommend me some good sitting VR games for vive? I'm tired of beat saber jumping around
I'd say wait until Valve announces a price for Index, otherwise it depends on if you want the full room experience or a 3ftx3ft play space with Oculus
Now I can be shit at throwing in vr as well as in real life
I Expect You to die is a really fun Escape room game where you sit in one place.
this.
It might end up being true, but the total faith people have in it, and that it is definitively nothing to do with Half-Life 3, is pretty crazy. Even if it is in some way a 'HL2 prequel where you play as Alyx', that could still turn out to be HL3, you dig?
Tyler is just broken by being simultaneously too close to and yet so far from all of Valves craziness. He went from being unable to interpret any news as anything but 'HALF-LIFE COMING THIS YEAR!' to not being able to interpret it as anything but 'Half-Life indefinitely delayed again.'. So once we actually do KNOW a new Half-Life is coming out alongside knuckles, and knuckles coming imminently, of course he has to find 'sources' to say 'it's not really the next half-life game, and it's not very good'.
Are they gonna have actual info on this sometime?
>Welcome User_user. Which aroma would you be interested in sampling this session?

For me I can literally never fap again without VR porn.
Do you think the Index will be available in Japan? Is the HTC Vive?
>Computer, download Bryce Dallas Howard's braps. Disengage safety protocols.

the leaked page "“while not comprehensive, is accurate.” according to a valve email Road to VR got
It's going to have no impact on VR. It's going to be vive pro tier expensive, and launch with one or two games at most.
No one is going to pay over $700 for a device with two games.
Are you retarded? It will support all games the Vive supports.
Warning: File Bryce_brap cannot be scanned for viruses and is listed as outside unverifiable mod. Do you still wish to proceed?
Affirmative. Do not remind me again for all similar file types.
>he thinks HMDs are consoles

Sweet, how do I get ready to dev for that functionality?
>cleaning cloth
Will fap into it on first use and toss it away. Thank, valve. :^)
>It will support all games the Vive supports.
that you can play with a shitty $200 wmr headset
and all the "games" are literally tech demos and vrs "killer app" is beat saber which is fucking guitar hero but worse
tell me how many games coming out this year actually make full use of knuckles
This is a gasket.
where does the PSVR fall into the tier-list of headsets?
*allows you to see stereoscopy without being a box*
I think the real question is: what kind of game could possibly be better in VR than on a tv/monitor?
So will the new rift have better resolution or wut?
Name a single triple-A VR title on steam.
You can play any game on a 1024x768 LCD monitor from 2005, that doesn't mean it's an ideal experience.
>tell me how many games coming out this year actually make full use of knuckles
You'll have to ask every dev but we do know SLZ is using it and The Gallery devs too, it's safe to say most games will start supporting it as it becomes the standard.
Oh, neat. thanks.
Resident Evil 7.

He said steam not PS4. RE7 on steam doesn't support VR.

I wonder why 3DTVs failed because it might be the same reason for VR to fail too.
In terms of max quality for a dedicated 'VR Room', you definitely want a Lighthouse 2.0 setup with a lighthouse in each corner, and Knuckles controllers. There will be three lighthouse tracked HMDs to consider (thankfully all sold alone, like the knuckles), the Valve Index, HTC Vive Pro EYE, and the Pimax 5k+. Of those three, the Valve Index will almost surely be the best overall (rumors currently swirling about all kinds of crazy features Valve has supposedly packed in), with the Pimax 5k+ a potential sidegrade for its somewhat higher FOV, and the HTC Vive Pro EYE for its eye tracking (assuming Index doesn't also include it, and also keeping in mind Pimax plans to release an eye-tracking add-on module at some point this year).
tl;dr - Valve Index will be the best, obviously, it's fucking Valve, they basically invented modern VR.
Skyrim
I don't get it, what is this thing exactly and how does it differ from HTC VIVE?
I thought valve already made a new one called HTC VIVE PRO?
>allows you to see stereoscopy without glasses
True
Alien Isolation VR is pretty sick. It's not official, but it works great
>The final fantasy 15 fishing VR game is STILL not on steam VR
BROS IT'S NOT FUCKING FAIR I JUST WANT TO FISH WITH MY FFXV BROS BUT FUCK BUYING PSVR
cheaper, gonna compete with Rift S
>FUCK BUYING PSVR
what's wrong with it
FFXV is a shit game anyway
I already own an HTC Vive. Not going to shell out more money to own 2 VR headsets
Better resolution than what? Better than the original Rift, yes. I doubt it will be better resolution than the Index. Could have higher PPD, depending on the FOV, though.
this one's pretty good too
>they basically invented modern VR
this guy
Vive wasn't made by Valve. They gave the specs to HTC to make it. Now Valve is making the next gen themselves because HTC are fuckups.
>I wonder why 3DTVs failed
Bc you're probably poor for one.
Barely. He just built the headsets. Carmack did and still does all the legwork.
Palmer worked closely with Valve until the faceberg cascade.

I'm a VRlet considering getting into VR, so answer me this. How is using a VR headset for non-VR games? Can I just use it as a more immersive monitor to play non VR games? Something like that one in-home theater demo I've seen, except you play videogames on it. Does it work well?
before he was working with valve he was making prototypes in his basement. the oculus kickstarter basically started this whole new wave of vr.
It works fine
Heh, I got mine for $150. If Index is the same res then there's no reason for me to upgrade. You can still use Knuckles with them and the Odyssey has superior OLED vs LCD.
>smell potion plant used for poisons
>die
not enough movies did anything with 3D that contributed to the experience. Adding on to that, there were a ton of 3D blu ray releases with terrible transfers, making it nearly unwatchable in 3D
Not triple A I didn't like it.
It works fine. I played games lying down in bed all warm and cozy during the winter. I would only play anime games though until resolution gets better. Screen door effect doesn't affect the appearance of those as much as "realistic" graphics.
The Oculus could've been such a great platform... and Facebook had to buy it and ruin everything. Look at it now, it's basically garbage. God bless Gaben and Valve for actually developing a proper PC VR platform in their stead.
It's pretty neat, I used to play LoL in my personal IMAX using Bigscreen app. I had other people join my room, watch me play and comment. Resolution was pretty shit, but it's getting improved with new headsets
Before he was making prototypes in his basement Valve was making VR rooms.
Feelreal has a Skyrim smell pack and will probably come with a mod to enable it.
>half-life associated with new tech in games
>hl3 with new valve vr
>ebin games becomes a footnote
would be cool
has it better pixel density and higher resolution now?
It was Gaben's fault in the first place. Oculus was going to sell on Steam and concentrate on hardware, but Gaben didn't want to actually help them with manufacturing costs. So they had to seek lots of outside investors, who of course going to seek to sellout. Once they did that it was only a question of who was the highest bidder that also didn't want to replace everyone.
We're in the second act of the VR dark age, user, but we're almost out that long ass tunnel and light is within reach.
>leave stove on
>play skyrim
>smell burning wood
it's just the game bro chill lmao
Rift is 1080x1200@90hz pentile OLED, Rift S 1280x1440@80hz RGB LCD, but both run at the render same target resolution. Rift S will probably look noticeably better but not a whole lot (a lot of the difference being reduced SDE from being full RGB).
Valve Index will almost surely be 1440x1600@90hz RGB LCD, but just maybe 2160×2432@90hz RGB LCD (rumors, speculation, ambiguous math based on verified leaks). We'll know everything on May 1st.
>2014
the oculus kickstarter was 2 years before that
This. If it's priced similarly to Vive, expect similar sales. If it's affordable for normies to try it, then it'll be great.
It's been 7 fucking years and I'm still waiting.
Yeah, but my skyrim don't smell like fag, which feelreal seems to think.
Is it fucking june yet
The VR room is newer but they were working on VR way before that.
Just two more months, user.
Valve is releasing it as a package for games, something something Skeletal interface.
Valve wants people to use it: If every dev goes "holy shit I want Knuckles controls in my VR game.", You've defacto made yourself a field of exclusives where anyone who wants to play the game as intended will shell out for Valve gear.
PPD is what matters not just raw resolution. 1440x1600 will still probably look better, but not a whole lot better if the FOV is as rumored. And if it really is 2160×2432, it will be an awesome headset, but there's no way it will be an affordable one.
I can play Street Fighter 5 just fine on my xbox...
game?
yes
In the filename. Kungfucious on steam.
goddamn you're dumb
It would have been smarter for valve to make a cheaper more accessible headset like PSVR, but with knuckles.
What PC VR desperately needs right now is more users, to attract developers so people actually make games for VR.
Instead they made another high end enthusiast headset like the Vive Pro. There's no chance whatsoever of a $800 headset selling 1 million+ units.
PC VR is going to stay at 1-2% of users on Steam and no one apart from indies making small cheap tech demo games, are going to invest money in making games for a market that small.
Burnt Lady, please
>wildflowers for whiterun
>moss for caves and eastmarch
>electricity for spells
>dragon for female NPCs
>burning wood for fire
>forest for rift and falkreath
>barbecue for inns
>mountains for winterhold and mountains
>french cookies for inns
Looks alright to me but it's missing monster smells other than dragon.
>not the Oculus Quest
>Carmack did and still does all the legwork.
No, Abrash does all the science, Carmack is a code monkey
I doubt there will be many knuckles exclusives. Most everything should also work with touch controllers at the very least. Not a lot will depend on your ring and pinky finger. I can't even physically move mine without moving my middle finger as well.
Thankfully we won't have to rely on faceberg.
GTAO 6 VR
>Mobile VR
I wanted to ask if anyone had tried bigscreen, can you make private rooms and invite friends, how does it work?
If those 2% of users are enough to continue funding research, that's enough. It's silly to go mainstream without foveated rendering and that's still a ways off.
No: Literally every company is going that direction right now and they'll fight for every square inch of market share against walled-garden entry-level headsets.
They're offering the best value in the premium category and selling a complete picture device for people to upgrade to when they decide they want more from VR than Robo Recall.
Valve can afford to do this easily. They're literally stepping into the niche that the Vive and Rift just vacated. I expect that while FB and HTC will pick up more than enough new converts for their cheaper, simpler models, the Index is going to be the choice of replacement for anyone who's currently in VR, AND the people who want more from their experience.
It's not going to be "Exclusive".
It's like H3VR being Vive-oriented: I can still play on my Rift, but the basic controls are designed for the Vive dildos. People are going to see people with fully tracked hands doing shit in their games, and they're going to want to do the same.
>he doesn't want untethered room scale 6DoF + 360 degree hand motion tracking VR
>it's like I'm actually playing virtual skeeball!
not on mobile hardware
>Valve can afford to do this easily
being able to "afford" to lose money is a retarded business decision. valve make their money from game sales, and increasing the vr market (and therefore making more game sales) by making a console priced $300-$400 headset is the best way to do that . there are other cheap headsets but they don't have the valve name or the impact/support valve does. also steam is a walled garden.
lightgun support for EmuVR when
This webm triggered the memory of the awful motion sicked I felt playing that which made me drop the vr headset for a while, I swear every other game before it was fine.
>dude you can play phone games ANYWHERE!
much wow...
in terms of which other controllers games made for knuckles might also work on, the hand-strap feature will probably end up being at least as important than the pressure sensors (and really you'll pretty much need both in conjunction). the only option is going to be pimax's controllers, which are targeting feature-parity.
Why the do you post the same webms in every single thread? No one is impressed by the ability to play arcade games from twenty years ago but strapped to your face. I can have a better experience spending $1 at a local arcade.
>Steam is a walled garden
How fucking dumb do you have to be? I'm playing on a Rift retard.
Valve is a software company; They'll sell the Index at a little over cost and make up on the cut they get on VR games.
>untethered room scale 6DoF + 360 degree hand motion tracking VR
I very much doubt they'll lose money on the costs of the actualy headsets. Their "losses" are in the form of their R&D in VR, which they've already done and is already sunk cost.
I don't think you understand what a walled garden is.
You can join a martial arts or boxing club too. What's your point?
This
explain it to me then steamie. how the oculus store is a walled garden but steam is not. both are proprietary stores that lock you into their platform.
>A closed platform, walled garden, or closed ecosystem[1][2] is a software system wherein the carrier or service provider has control over applications, content, and media, and restricts convenient access to non-approved applications or content.
e.g. Steam
Wish there was a way to upgrade my HTC VIVE to an HTC VIVE PRO that isn't just straight buying the PRO and junking my old one
Oculus was just a 3DoF headset with no low persistence that gave people instant headaches before they saw the R&D Valve basically gave them. Hell Carmack didn't even think the LCD motion blur was an issue until he saw what Valve was working on. Oculus would have never got their feet off the ground for the FB buyout at all if it wasn't for that.
>sunk cost
Valve is one of the only big players in VR with seemingly any degree of awareness of the concept, and it's why they're fated to dominate.
>how the oculus store is a walled garden
Only official Oculus VR sets can use the Oculus SDK and it only support Oculus Store games by default and you will always need the Oculus runtime running, contrast that to OpenVR where any manufacturer can use it and the SDK is decoupled from the SteamVR runtime meaning that you can use it without Steam by simply using another runtime.
woops i meant to say vive sorry
Isn't it more HTC than Valve?
you can only use steam vr with steam
Can I buy non-Oculus games from the store? Can I run Oculus Store games without an Oculus VR set without an unofficial compatibility layer?
cool source bro
>you can only use steam vr with steam
youtube.com
No you don't. I've downloaded plenty of porn shit that isn't on Steam.
I'll upgrade when there's eye tracking and the inside-out tracking has cameras on the controllers themselves.
Wrong.
gitlab.com
And even if other runtimes didn't exist it would still not be a walled garden since the SDK is open to manufacturers and even if it weren't it still wouldn't be a walled garden since SteamVR is purely a VR runtime that doesn't need Steam running, 3 layers of wrongness.
probably gonna be like 800-1000 dollars with all the stuff they are throwing in

Also Subnautica but it runs like ass
Reminder this guy successfully sued to get them to pay his hospital fees.
The only thing nice about that is OLED screens
Same or higher resolution.
135 FOV instead of 110 (which will make a huge different for the general experience, crossing the magic ~120 FOV threshold of actual human binocular vision).
Probably RGB LCD instead of OLED (tradeoff of less SDE for somewhat worse black levels).
Some kind of special multi-lens optics, probably just generally better (reduced artifacts/aberrations), possibly some other special feature.
Some kind of haptic feedback headphones.
Will probably be less than a 2/3 the price (feasibly less than half).
will she quote Nietzsche at me while I peek up her skirt?
yea that's exactly how it works. You create rooms, private or public, invite what you want, select from multiple enviroments and stream your desktop onto the big screen
I host football games sometimes, random people join from all over the world to watch and talk, it feels like they're sitting right next to you. Really cool
Distance has a really good vr mode that puts you inside the car. Subnautica and Hellblade also have good VR, though the latter requires downloading a different version.
vive pro was an htc cash grab. raise the specs a tiny bit, raise the price a huge amount, turn it blue, and call it an "enterprise' headset

I really hope this was actually intentional and they don't try to fix it.
When the fuck are we getting a true 4k headset. I want to upgrade from my old rift
I'm actually going to kek my sides off when they release this with 0 (zero) games like they did the steam machine.
Imagine if Sony released the Playstation 5 and said "sorry bros, we haven't got any games for this thing, but you can play old games that don't take advantage of the new hardware, and we're working with ONE third party developer who is making a game that's coming out sometime this year."
I have it in my library for over a year and can't force myself to start it. Horror in VR is just too much
Fucking sweet, dude. Reminds me of the old Netflix xbox app where friends were able to pop in with their avatars and watching movies and shows MST3K style. Can't wait to try it!

You don't need ridiculous resolution to fix SDE.
ok thats pretty sick
This is actually embarrassing.
store.steampowered.com
Pimax is running 3840x2160 displays per eye
It's clunky both hardware and software wise though
>"You don't need ridiculous resolution to fix SDE."
>posts comparison picture of headset with ridiculous resolution fixing SDE
The O+ is only 1440x1600 per eye.
The original Vive display is essentially the same as original Oculus (Oculus with a slightly smaller FOV). The Vive Pro is 1440x1600 pentile OLED at 90hz with 110 FOV.
OLED used to be essentially requisite because it was the only way to get low-persistence, but then a shitload of R&D was done to make low-persistence (aka 'fast-switch') LCDs work and now basically everyone is moving to those because their one downside of somewhat worse black levels is more than made up for by their low cost and reduced SDE.
>alarm sounds
>fear intensifies
youtube.com
Pimax is a fucking meme and known for false advertising, the 8k was a shitshow too and they practically begged backers to switch to 5k.
leddit link alert reddit.com
Pimax 5K has it down pretty ok at moment SDE-wise.
I see posts like this and I wonder if people have forgotten how to play games for fun and just seem them as OCD tick boxes to waste the most time with the most minimal effort.
Like wow. Great. You can play a game without leaving your seat. You've actually botoxed all the muscles aside from your hands just to make sure you don't do anymore more than be a potato. Awesome.
That's still very clearly the high end of consumer headsets apart from garbage like pimax.
>WMR
>high end
No, it's the standard WMR resolution which are the cheapest ones around, the original Vive and Rift resolution is very outdated.
>SteamVR is purely a VR runtime that doesn't need Steam running
This is only hypothetically true. I've never seen a single game which didn't just use the standard plugins, which just launch the Steam app. It's one thing Valve could definitely do better.
pimax sacrifices nearly everything else for raw fov, and even that is not as good as you would think. your outward fov is high, but inward toward your nose it is a lot worse than the basic oculus rift. if you turn your eyes to the side, one of them will be looking at black plastic, and looking straight forward is a bit blurry because the lenses are angled outward
Yes, valve and rift are old and wmr headsets are at the higher end of screen resolution.
It will fail just like steam controller and steam machines.
current high end is 2.1k x 2.1k per eye.
wired.com
I've done this for a lot of stuff on Itch.io. There's some cool demos on there and the fetish game of my dreams outbreakgames.itch.io
slightly higher resolution, much worse everything else. the tracking is pretty crap
Reverb is targeting businesses.
I know user; at some point in the distant past this discussion was just about screen resolution.
who cares what is in their marketing brochure? it is what it is
>anything less than 1440p per eye
It will if they keep using those shit pentile displays.
Most of the rumored crazy features are actually pretty cheap sounding, though. eg. air-cannon headphones are a gimmick that's been constantly revived for decades but never found a compelling use-case. lenses are cheap to make once the R&D is done, and Valve already has been making their own VR lenses for a while. Trying to guess the price of the HMD itself is a fools errand for the time being, but we can pretty well say lighthouses will be $50-100 each and knuckles $100-200 per pair. It is very unlikely that the total bundle will be over the $800 high-bar set by the Rift and Vive launch.
It's pretty much confirmed they're using LCD. We just don't know the res yet.
The discussion was about ridiculousness of 4k and the O+ was brought up as an example of almost no SDE with a smaller resolution but then replied saying it was the high end even though WMRs are the cheapest ones and saying it's the higher end of resolutions available doesn't mean much since no actual high-end sets came out lately, the HP Reverb will be 4k total and it reportedly looks nice and is very comfortable but it seems a bit overpriced.
Optics and pixel layout are more important for fighting SDE, not even bruteforcing resolution can really fix it if you're using a crap panel.
Because technically I can form an LLC and put an order for a varjo hmd for $6000 and $1K yearly support fees and hook it up to a $15000 workstation to play beat saber at stupid resolutions but some things are slightly outside the practical realm of consumer video game hardware and not worth considering alongside headsets you can realistically play video games on at home.
Their primary focus was resolution and comfort
Tracking is shitty, only 2 cameras pointing in front of you.. For general gaming it's shitty, but strictly for driving sims and cockpit games it's the best option
Koikatsu + an onahole
oled is pretty much done for in vr now. a couple new products using them but everyone is saying they will be the last. lcd is just better now at everything except color accuracy.
oled isn't even good at deep blacks in an hmd due to the way oled pixels lose their response time when allowed to be fully off, creating smears when you move your head. oled only really gives good blacks for static images, which don't exist in vr
lets be honest, will there ever be a AAA vr game or just an endless sea of inde tech demos
>using the same system as the odysey
I guess will use the ol IR hat then.
People way overstate how bad the WMR tracking is, it works perfectly fine except for the limited FOV on the controllers which is rarely an issue.
Don't remind me.
Okay this has bugging the shit out of me like a mosquito bite can't stop scratching, but is that goddamn fuzzy cloth on the front?
nice straw man, the reverb is priced just above the vive at 600 and you can order it through an ordinary online store this month
But that user is right that HP is just bullshitting about 'targeting enterprise'. They're selling an explicit consumer version for a competitive price to other consumer HMDs.
>lcd is just better now at everything except color accuracy.
Contrast is the bigger factor. The problem with OLED is basically Samsung is the only OEM and they make Pentile garbage. If Sony would invest more in OLED maybe we'd get some good panels but it seems like they don't want to go wholesale anyway and would probably charge a shit ton for them.
I just want to fap naked in the middle of my room with VR. what game will allow me that?
I was excited for the dismemberment addition but it takes so many hits to chop off a limb and it looks super scuffed when it does happen.
all of them
Take your pick.
its shit if you want to do anything that doesnt involve looking directly at your hands. basically it works for shooters and that about it. beatsaber is totally unplayable, as would be games like lone echo or blade and sorcery
It's less bullshitting and more terrible fucking marketing since it's competitive to the consumer VR sets and calling it "enterprise" just drives consumers away.
Yes. Asshats have been trying to meme fabric-cased electronics into reality for a long time, especially in HMDs for some reason (eg. Rift and Daydream). Marketing focus testers saying fabric evokes gentleness and comfort (in contrast to plastic), probably.
if you ever wanted to feel like an exhibitionist without getting arrested, vr is for you.
its because air can pass through it, so you don't turn the inside into a box full of sweat
Because the fad died before the tech becoming good enough.
VR is already good enough for porn and some niche games, so I don't think it's going away anytime soon.
>beatsaber is totally unplayable, as would be games like lone echo or blade and sorcery
Completely wrong, the camera FOV is much higher than just what you're looking at and the controllers actually have a degree of autonomy and also regain tracking instantly, you really have to hold it behind you to get funkiness.
youtube.com
I was more disappointed by the shit frame rate on the new map and the AI still being retarded.
can someone give me a good reason why they're manufacturing and selling two products that are basically the same specs with the same price, when they could sell something like the quest with an adapter to plug and play on PC?
nope, put your hands at your sides and they cease to exist, or else glitch into positions you don't intend.
I think Assportal is finally gonna launch when the Index comes out. Took long enough, but Gabe delivered on his promise. youtu.be
rift s is basically xbox s, same general system but more convenient and cheaper to manufacture
>when they could sell something like the quest with an adapter to plug and play on PC?
The Quest is their answer to Steam. They can't compete with Steam even throwing millions for exclusives at the Oculus store so they made a locked down headset that makes it so you can't.
Because they want to force the mobileshit meme, the Rift S is just a strategic release to compete with the newer sets coming out despite not having a reason to exist and basically just being a sidegrade to the original.
explain
low IQ people are able to view magic eye pictures
Because they were capitalizing on the hype around 3D effects in movie theaters but nobody actually cared that much about it and it was a lot worse on relatively smaller TV screen.
Koikatsu has VR, but that's not its VR interface though.
The VR menus look like pic related
Yeah, 3D isn't so bad on my projector setup at 150" but on my 65" TV I would never bother.
This and also Rift S is really just a strategic product to smooth over their retreat and make the Quest even better in contrast. They just licensed its creation and manufacture out to Lenovo. The price is clearly artificially blown up to parity with Quest even though it probably costs
/vrg/ autism stays in /vrg/
What's this?
Can one join a vr orgy?
Are there any VR porn games with /d/ecent fetish content? e.g. something like Corruption of Champions? I want to get into the porn but what I've found is way too boring for me.
on /vg/
it's cancer, don't bother
this is pretty gay, i just need ya'll too know that
Aw sweetie, all you had to do was ignore it.
>MUH SRS VR DISCUSSION
Despite all the memeing porn content for vr in general sucks right now.
Any VR that uses ASMR? My coworker was sucking on a lolipop when we were car pooling and I got asmr.
*Suck, lick, pop* like that, thought it could only happen withheadphones
Hmm I wonder Palmer's doing right now youtube.com
Not so fast, /vrg/ fux.
If there's one headset to really appeal to the masses it's the Quest.
I'm going to buy a Quest and probably an Index, Quest I can take to friends' places and show them VR, the ones that are really into it I can show them Index.
Very well....
>"wah my friend at oculus got killed by immigrant gangsters. Imma fund an r/donald billboard. That'll show em!"
have yes
Does this mean i can finally finger a loli in VR?
Pre-Ordering on May1. Can't wait for Half Life VR.
He most likely signed a no-compete clause since he's very obviously still 100% interested in VR since it's all he talks about in his blog, the whole faceberg shit is sad.
You can finger whoever you want, whenever you want. Your imagination is the limit.
I can feel the motion sickness from here.
Definitely, he'll probably be back in like five years but honestly who would really wanna be associated or hire him? He'd probably start from scratch trying to get back in the game, and by then it'll be interesting to see where VR's at.
I'm still waiting for a simple dungeon crawler with four player online support with traps, undead, secret paths, and such all in a VR space.
Just let me finally do some dungeon diving with Bros in a fake world with good tracking. Somatic and verbal spell casting, only rogues can see and disable traps, rangers can see footprints and knows what made them, shit like that.
I don't need a god damn story, I don't need an new world, just dungeon exploration with bros.
Trickster seems like the closest to this for you rn. It's got co-op.
How do I make her not pissed off at me? I took Polaroids of her panties and showed them to her and now she is livid.
pretty sure you can just rub her head for like 30 seconds and she completely resets.
just like real life
>doubting Volvo when they made what is still the best introduction to VR
Commercial version when? You just know they're laying wait to pounce.
What is this even trying to show?
A snack slot of course!
funny every time
Apparently some Half-Life themed tech demo or something.
VR Cultists are of the belief that millions of people are going to run out and buy an RTX 2080, an $800 video game helmet, and then clear out a room in their homes to play some motion control Valve game.
The problem is 99% of videos are vanilla as fuck, same with most of the games unless it's a model/scene creator like HS or VAM
I didn't get into VRPorn for vanilla, I want devs to get weird with it and everybody seems to be afraid to be the one to pull the trigger.
Sounds like me but I bought a 2070. Do plan on buying the highest end model of whatever Valve plans to ship out.
Nah it's going to be an actual game, they already said they were working on 3 full VR games.
>RTX 2080
Minimum recommended for the Index is a GTX 970 but it should work with even worse GPUs if you don't mind frame drops too much.
Knuckle controller camera slot.
Or... A leap motion slot. For those who don't want knuckles. Look it up.
Valve has a long track record of success in the hardware space. And given their industry leading quality control, and the fact that they totally didn't fire half their VR team last month, this is a no-brainer day one pre-order for me.
Why is there no 40+ hour adventure game in VR yet? I want something like mass effect or even a legend of zelda type game. Fuck your shooters, fuck your tech demos, fuck your carnival game sims.
I want to get lost in a huge fucking world in VR for hours to explore for fuck sake
You and I both know if you attempt to drive a VR HMD with a GTX 970, you're going to puking your guts out within moments.
Skyrim
>Valve has a long track record of success in the hardware space.
Steam Controllers are great, yeah, they are a bit niche though.
>and the fact that they totally didn't fire half their VR team last month
They literally sent an official note saying it didn't reflect any change in direction in the company and Gabe said in an email it was a people problem and not a VR problem.
But keep on repeating retarded memes while missing basic information.
Great news, user! I have just the game for you!
How about a game that I haven't played 50,000 times across the past 10 years on 25 different consoles?
>Spongebob meme
Go back.
They probably won't even begin to consider a commercial version until they have their dynamically foveated version working, which may be never. The longer it takes them the more likely it becomes that people start coming up with alternative fixed foveation solutions (eg. purely optical ones), which might just be the end of them. And then there's the fact that fixed foveation and foveated rendering are somewhat mutually exclusive, opposed technologies, and we don't know which will be the better user experience quite yet, but we definitely seem to be headed towards foveated rendering much quicker.
...
No since that was the recommended card for the 2016 sets and what all devs optimized around.
There's Skyrim, and I guess if you wanna try that Labo VR that Nintendo is making for Switch Breath of the Wild is gonna have VR support.
It's NOT the same game, it's Skyrim VIRTUAL REALITY, totally different!
>Is VR, dare I say it, saved?
It had to be alive first in order to be saved.
Nothing you said disputes the fact that they fired half their VR team last month.
Also, the Steam Controller was bar none, the most chincy piece of plastic I have ever held in my hands, rivaling Mad Catz in build quality.
Asgard's Wrath is claimed to be the biggest and most ambitious VR game yet. Action fantasy RPG with 30-40 hours of gameplay
Because nobody solved the locomotion problem yet. Teleporting is retarded and using a joystick breaks immersion and causes motion sickness
Because those games cost a lot of money to make, and there's about a million Vives and Rifts out there, total. Indie and AA studios are starting to work on theirs, but it's taking a while because games with the detail, polish, and depth of Mass Effect take three+ years to make.
Play Fallout 4 VR or something. There's a Legend of Zelda-styled game coming to Quest soon-ish, and Stormlands looks really good.
Seems like a bunch'a tech stuff I wouldn't be able to really comprehend. Are people kidding when they say two cameras or sensors (or whatever those are) is a bad thing?
Nice.
>reddit spacing
let's go together, I'll hold your hand
>and using a joystick breaks immersion and causes motion sickness
no it fucking doesn't unless you're a pussy.
works on my machine
>Nothing you said disputes the fact that they fired half their VR team last month.
It disputes the fact that their VR plans "is in trouble", people fudding about it is exactly why they sent an official note which is rare for valve.
Yeah man, if you run any VR game on a GTX 970 it's going to make you sick. You can try to save face all you want, but it doesn't make what I said less true.
VR requires a monster GPU that costs as much as the HMD itself. Fact.
What happened to that 1500 ppi lg oled screen. I don't care if gpus aren't there yet. Show me realistic vr now and put the pressure on you companies
Then I'm all set :^) NOICE
No, you are wrong and trying to argue against basic facts, why are you even trying to troll?
I played on a Vive with a 970 for three years.
You can run most games fine on the lowest settings. I never got sick except when I tried to play Fallout 4.
>VR requires a ... GPU that costs as much as the HMD itself. Fact.
that's true. $399 GPU will work just fine
show the one with the undercover catgirl cop
The GTX 970 was literally the "VR Ready" GPU that Nvidia pushed for and all early games were optimized around it and it's still used as a minimum benchmark.
I want Mynt to suck my dick so much you wouldn't believe how many buckets of cum I would pump into her oh my fucking god I want to fuck mynt so bad
This is constantly ignored by the VR Prophets and it's fucking hilarious.
VR devs have yet to figure out how to literally walk forward in a game without causing people to vomit. Imagine if every time you pressed "W" on your keyboard, you evacuated your stomach contents.
I have a 1060 I got for 170 bucks and I can run every VR game with no problems or motion sickness.
If you're going to spew garbage out your mouth at least have sources to back it up.
unemployed
employed
How far will it go?
Did Valve fire half their VR team last month or not?
the only thing that works are cockpit games like spaceships, cars and trucks
most people get over it in like a day or two. very few never get over it. people got sick when Doom 1 came out, the dealt with it
mostly they fired the artifact team
Is my stomach made of iron or something? one of my first VR games was Windlands and I've had 0 issues with feeling sick
13 hardware-related employees, what exactly they worked on is unknown but we do know Valve has a huge hardware division so 13 isn't really that much.
1060 is getting outdated a bit. I'd cough out extra $50 for 1660Ti, it's probably best price/quality GPU right now
>perfect opportunity to bring back badass mechs
>nobody does this
All the way, user.
>Valve already announced their VR set and said it will start shipping in june
>OMG VR DEAD???!
lmao
So Facebook basically bought the R&D done by Valve from Oculus.
it will run every app on the oculus store at 90fps at least, guaranteed. they don't allow games on it otherwise
If you can deal with cockpit games, you can deal with running and jumping. Running is easier for nausea and is no more immersion breaking than being in a car where you can't feel accelerations. I generally assume most people who say cockpit games work better haven't actually tried VR.
more like the guys who did that R&D quit valve and went to work for Oculus
the slot isn't for leapmotion, the Index will have its own CV hand-tracking (probably actually just added for free for everyone to use as a part of SteamVR). knuckles is half of Valves 'hand presence' solution, the other half being the CV from the HMD.
the slot is almost surely for a planned (and possibly available at launch) wireless add-on, maybe in the future a standalone conversion with an SOC. and for anything anyone else might feel like coming up with.
Pretty much. They probably would have copied Lighthouse too if they saw that. Constellation tracking was inferior in every way.
Those people left after the buyout. It wasn't even clear what Valve was going to do VR wise at that time so that's another reason to leave. Valve never wanted to get into hardware.
Fucking horrifying, why did they even trust the zuck?
>rift
>600 dollars
we need an update that isn't 3 years old, rift is like 350 now
>the slot is almost surely for a planned (and possibly available at launch) wireless add-on
>wireless add-on
>slot only has USB 3.0
How would this work exactly? There's no indication from the PCB to reroute the displays to.
>Valve never wanted to get into hardware.
wrong lol
hardware is all Gabe cares about nowadays
pcgamer.com
>Constellation tracking was inferior in every way.
I remember reading those reddit comments boasting how Computer Vision was the future and they were basically future proofing when buying an Oculus. Lighthouse was a dead end.
Now their 3 or even 4 camera setups are useless and hve no upgrade path.
Cockpits give you a static visual point of reference to avoid motion sickness. This is something that's fairly well established and was mentioned in oculus's initial developer guide as well. I recognized it myself when I was still getting my legs and playing Overload on my vive. My stomach started churning a lot harder when I switched off the cockpit overlay.
They've obviously changed considering they're releasing Index. We're talking over 5 years ago now you realize?
>This is constantly ignored by the VR Prophets
I usually take every chance I can to emphasize it since this is the best part of VR. Movement feels better in VR than flat games since you have a much better sense of speed. I made to show that it is perfectly possible to use more advance movement techniques without getting sick. I'm actually a bit upset the user who decided to repost it used a name that goes against its original purpose.
They could make a movie about all this betrayal.
Fuck I've been brainhacked
They didn't fire half their VR team last month. They fired thirteen hardware-related employees in February, and let go a bunch of explicitly temporary contractors. In hindsight almost surely due to the completion of build-up for Index mass production. We don't know the exact size of their 'hardware division', but it is certainly well over 36 people (probably more like 136 or even 236). Their VR software 'team' is reportedly around 80 people, for comparison. IIRC they had somewhere around 300 employees at last official record a few years ago, and were just beginning a massive hiring drive.
You're a moron who fell for clickbait because it confirmed your biases.
Works on my brain, faggot.
>the Index will have its own CV hand-tracking (probably actually just added for free for everyone to use as a part of SteamVR). knuckles is half of Valves 'hand presence' solution, the other half being the CV from the HMD.
There's zero indication of that and Valve never did CV for their solutions, it's completely superfluous since the knuckles already have hand tracking which is their whole purpose.
Asshurt would be the best part of the game for sure tok
Valve has been experimenting with VR and weird shit like BCI for way longer than that.
Blue...
Vrchat is fursuiting for weaboos
And you think they would freely release that R&D if they were planning on making their own hardware?
I'm really scared about the back part of it that tracks your fingers. I already slam my wands into a wall or my ceiling fan on occasions. That thing looks like it's going to snap off on the fan or my desk on the first hit. I had to get rubber grips for the wands.
I've wondered that myself, and don't have a great answer USB 3.0 could probably handle whatever bandwidth they would need, but you're right about it being a somewhat strange way to do it. It still seems by far the most likely thing for them to have specifically planned for the slot. The other shipping-day-one option is almost a joke - that the thing runs very hot, for some reason (HDR displays? natively wireless? native SOC?), and the slot is specifically for an optional powered fan. However the slot is (in the leaked HD render) clearly very well ventilated, so... ?
They also have a lot more unavoidable accelerations compared to moving on foot where you tend to move at a constant velocity. What you say about the overlay is true when applied to the same game, but it doesn't let you make a comparison to a different genre. A flying game is still a flying game without the cockpit the same way a shooting game is still a shooting game without the tunnel vision filter. Applying the overlay will help both, but the flying game will still be tougher to deal when when compared on even footing. There is less to cause motion sickness when you are just walking or running.
So far the only game that has made me have to close my eyes and recompose myself was VTOL when I was trying to learn how to fly in hover mode with assists off. In comparison, I can easily get through Fallout 4 as it chugs along at 40 fps.
My dick is diamonds over this
They freely released a lot of software too so it's not really evidence of anything.
Really wish that wireless adapter for HTC VIVE would go down in price. I want to ditch the fucking cables
If you follow the history it pretty much is. They wanted a partnership with Oculus to work with Steam and that went south so they got HTC to do it. They're now seeing how terrible HTC is and that they're trying to compete with Steam themselves (Viveport) so they're better off working alone.
Listen to this user. 166Ti has Turing architecture, (same as RTX series), so you get all the divested rendering support.
>im in
what is this?
Foveated* fuck mobile
Shit, youre a mage, seems in theme with the game
There will be at least a few more GPU generations before foveated rendering becomes a consumer level thing, the Oculus main engineer dude said it will come in 5 years.
This is misleading, but the Vive does have a bit more fov than the Rift as the Rift sacrificed some fov for less SDE
So this GPU should last a good while then! Runs fine now and when foveation comes out it will run everything with an order of magnitude of better performance
I have no issue waiting to get a good and affordable VR experience. Fuck the PSVR and fuck Sony as well.
Really enjoyed Robinson: The Journey and Obduction.
Also Hellblade and Moss are okay, although Moss is a bit short.
>2019
>people still care about VRshit
Cringe
All of Oculus' 2018 predictions for 'next gen' VR features were a marketing scheme for Rift 2 wherein they were trying to set low (slow) expectations and then suddenly match them in a much shorter time ("THE HMD OF THE FUTURE, TODAY!"). Then facebook cancelled it and fired them all, LOL.
We could see foveated rendering support added to any of the big middleware engines literally any day. It's not in any way a GPU-bound feature, just a deep render-pipeline problem (the stuff there's really only a few dozen people working on, for all of these major engines put together). It's very much the same as the already quickly-solved single-pass rendering, but a bit harder. I bet there'll be early support nearly simultaneous with the first commercial eye-tracking HMD (Vive Pro EYE or the Pimax add-on or maybe Index).
I like how there's a spot to mount a dildo. good planning.

>no good games will use it
More like no good game will not use it.
I want this shit, but I'm a turbo autists and can't interact in VRChat with ther people.
Can I be invisible and stalk others?
>unironically using the word cringe
Fucking gay
He said 'within five years'. The foveated rendering method he was describing in his talk was also some weird hypothetical neural net thing proprietary to oculus that has no relation to methods that have already been proven by other companies.
>never going to work properly
Rift has had this feature since it came out.
Just not ring and pinky fingers.
I wonder if those new bendable phone screens will solve the fov issue when they're cheap enough.
Instead of trying to make lenses bend light from a flat screen to surround the eyes, you just have the screen(s) do it. Though they'd still need to warp it virtually.
>There's a Legend of Zelda-styled game coming to Quest soon-ish
name?
Looking at Valve's patent they seem to have pretty much perfected the light bending for not at least.
God it feels good not to have a weak stomach. I feel genuinely sorry for people that have issues with movement in VR, cause it's never bothered me.
No one is buying a Quest for the graphics dumbass
Holy shit.. Now I can give people the finger in VR CHAT! BASED! THat'll get me on the sterams!!!!
I fucking love Sairento, but I only enjoy the game while using the bow, the rest of the guns are pretty meh.
Journey of Gods. I'm not sure about ultra-minimalistic looks. Graphics are very simplified to make it run on Quest, and it looks like weird experimental tech demo
Made by Turtle Rock studios (L4D, Evolve) btw
Touch isn't the same. It just knows if you're touching or hovering certain buttons or triggers. Knuckles cheats similarly but it has far more "states" which is enough to fool you to think it's actually tracking them.
Yeah, they're buying it because they are retarded and fall for misleading marketing.
What makes this new VR better than what we currently have (Rift & Vive)? I have around $400 to throw.
its made by gaaaaaabe!
Rift S has higher resolution screen and ease of setup (no sensors) $399
Valve Index even higher res screen, and stands out from every other headset with high FOV (135 vs ~95-100). Also Knuckles controllers. Price unknown
Windlands 2 is pretty fucking cool when played with friends.
What are the best games to showcase VR to friends and family?
This demo is fucking sick. Motion sickness is meme until I played this game. It's good I had to stop playing after twenty minutes. Closest thing to Spiderman VR we can ask for right now if ever.
Koikatsu and Honey Select
I'd like a Halo game with a Visor/HUD that has some perceivable depth to it. That would be pretty cool.
Ironically the 'tech demo' ones.
Beat Saber is easy to get into and very intuitive for newbs
If you have Rift then run First Contact demo. It's ~10 minutes fun experience that introduces Touch capabilities and has some stuff to play around with
google earth is pretty cool if your internet isn't shit ;_;
Probably anything that you can think of. tech demos etc.. They'll get bored of it soon enough
Also The Lab on Steam with doggo fetching the stick and archery minigame
Confirmed never gonna happen.
Why do you think it's going to cost $800 and it's not going to be competitive with PSVR/Rift S? HTC literally sell at almost double the manufacturing price because they need to make money on hardware while Valve can sell at cost and make money selling software.
Also, Steam already hit ~1% VR users before their headset even released and they have had a continued exponential growth in VR users since 2016.
Best VR porn experience?
Please no VRChat, I can't handle other people.
The Lenovo one is reduced to clear at the moment, you should have gotten that.

Why didn't lighthouses catch on with third parties? WMR seems pretty popular for some reason.
Maybe Valve should have done a reference design like MS did but that gives me steam machine flashbacks.

There's about 4 million PC VR HMDs out there in 2019 and SONY also sold about 4.2 million PSVR headsets on their console: twitter.com

post more cunny
WMR is cheaper to make, and there have always been supply issues with lighthouse tracking components. The relatively sudden switch to 2.0 probably didn't help, is possibly what directly killed the LG SteamVR HMD.
What Valve always, ALWAYS should have done (including with Index), is made SteamVR into a more modular system, with a Tracker device suitable for supporting HMD tracking (and made the Vive their example of this system in action). Then they would have had to encourage manufacturers merely to include an attachment point for those devices (presumably a standardized threaded brass camera/speaker attachment, like the Trackers we got).
I suspect they knew they would be wanting to significantly advance Lighthouse design in possibly compatibility-breaking ways (as ended up happening). But I can't figure why they haven't done this with the Index. Possibly there's more real technically barrier than I imagine, but I really don't think so.
It’s saved by Nintendo as usual
>BOTW entirely in VR
>simulated shark bite
Cute
That method would make things unnecessarily bulky and there's no reason for it. LG stated pretty clearly that they dropped it because they saw now market for it. Even all the WMR headsets only sold 180k. The fact is that there just isn't room for competition. I find it odder that so many companies tried to go into WMR when there should only have been two or three at most.

That just makes it hotter
I have this exact same setup in my living room.
Get a life.
what a great guy, helping his friend out like that
>implying they dont have a few real size sex dolls in the closet they could have used instead
there's no chance the index will have foveated, is there
Google Earth is overrated.
Seeing all those hype talk literally makes me believe that it is a 90% recapture of the real earth.
Turns out most of the map are just flat ugly mesh

we would have heard by now
it'll have new lens tech though!
Nothing suggests it. There is a fuckhuge addon port on the headset though.
thanks for posting my game but it's not VR
Raw Data is pretty cool, I like using the cyborg ninja myself because of the boomerang katana.
Saw it other night and really dug it, user. Looks really fucking sweet.
For me, it's Iron Man VR
>From the very beginning it was pitched as a full game, not an experimental demo.

>Not a linear campaign
>Has areas with optional missions, deep customization.
>Not related to Spiderman

>Not a California based studio
>That placeholder text for what it includes
Are they seriously going to force you to buy base stations and the Knuckles separate?
>capeshit
Nope
May as well ask here,
Any idea why all the western VR porn are lagging on my computer?
All the JAV doesn't have this problem.
I have a 2080ti so computer power isn't the issue here.
Using simpleVRplayer.
dangit i really believe that foveated might make VR mainstream by allowing higher clarity with weaker hardware
Some people already have controllers, keeping options open for what to buy is a good thing
What cape?
>suddenly notice the huge anime girl sitting in the background
The WMR tracking FOV thing really doesn't matter- if you can see your hands in your periphery, they're tracked, and the dead-reckoning when they go out of view isn't bad (IIRC it was really bad when the drivers first came out). I find the precision bad, though. Like the tracked angle of the controller visibly jitters some fraction of a degree every frame, making it hard to aim with one hand, except to short ranges. Maybe my equipment's just fucked?
You say that but
>more options bad
it won't at all.
>lenses bend light from a flat screen to surround the eyes
because that's not how any of this works. the lenses aren't for warping the image to increase FOV, they are first and foremost for creating false focal distance. you will always need lenses for HMDs, because *nobody* can focus properly on something less than an inch from their eye. they are almost without exception shrinking the image and narrowing the FOV, relative to the panels true size relative to your eye.
there's been speculation that Valve may be doing something like what you're thinking with the Index, but it's total speculation and not actually indicated that well by the patent in question. and nothing like it's been done for any HMD before, AFAIK. the patent everyone is speculating over (which is almost assuredly in use in the Index) described mostly just reduction in typical lens artifacts and aberrations, eg. god rays, halo effect, visible stepping between zones of a fresnel lens.
The cape is metaphorical and a symbol of the poor literary pedigree of the franchise the game draws from.
the only thing that would save VR, is if Stadia dominates the market, then Nintendo/Sony would have to go full into VR, and make exclusives for their VR games, since stadia cant do VR.
It bugs me because I was hoping the Index would be a step forward while being more affordable but all this tells me is that the base headset will cost $400 but then you'll need another $200 in accessories if you don't own them already to actually use it.
At the risk of sounding incredibly homosexual, give me a snu snu thicc amazon over lolis any day.
$600 is affordable.
Stuff being sold separately says nothing about the price and we already know there are bundles.

I guarantee you the Index and Knuckles will work with 1.0 Lighthouse stations, and the Index will not require Knuckles to work.
The full bundle will probably be in the 600$ range, the headset itself closer to 3 or 400, the Knuckles around 100-150, and the 2.0 lighthouses 100$. I don't see a problem with this, it's a higher end product than the Rift S for a higher price for enthusiasts.
You're entitled to your opinion and thicc girls are good too but western garbage is not.
$600 is the Vive during a sale, user.
Usual price is $400 at most.
I'm just remembering the Vive Pro being $1000 with nothing else in it and getting concerned.
>western garbage is not
If I wanted flatchested loli shit I'd just fuck an ironing board.
we really don't know anything about it. it could very well have eye tracking, which Valve has their own patent for. it could also potentially have some kind of fixed-foveated display as a feature of its special optics, which we really don't know anything about. they've also got a patent for an optical SDE mitigation tech. we just don't know.
>people have forgotten how to play games for fun and just seem them as OCD tick boxes to waste the most time with the most minimal effort.
How do people have fun when playing games? My brain doesn't compute this anymore. It's just a set of laborious objectives and disappointments. I don't understand.
Why play them at this point?
yes and it's a really good thing, and a hopeful sign for reasonable prices. valve uses fully automated factories which automatically package and palletize everything. they're entirely optimized for scale.
this is pretty good
idk user, I don't see any eye-tracking cameras here.
