No one really knows if they're prepared to announce it yet. We know it's coming but it could come next year, might be too early to fully reveal it yet.

Why would Sony announce PS5 not at E3? E3 is the best place to do that. PS5 will be next year.

E3 is drinking game day. Just take a shot every time they use a buzzword like inclusive or broader audience.

Unless they unveil a new console, no one will have anything to announce. Yeah Sony can show TLoU, Their Samurai game and so on. But we dont care, its already announced anyway. Maybe Microsoft can reveal the rumored Fable, but that is it, not much to show. I really think they will unveil consoles and next generation games now.

Sony will never come back to E3. E3 makes no sense anymore, anyone can do their own event, Sony can get their own venue and own stream.

You forgot Death Stranding gameplay. There's still plenty to show off they're just not the giant big exclusives since a lot of developers are already doing shit for next gen. Might get some announcements or w/e of games that will release on both consoles who knows.

Also, if they announce the next console, those big exclusives coming out this year will feel more lackluster because we know the next console is coming and would rather wait for that to come out and hope for ports (unless next gen plays it smart and allows BC for at LEAST this gen)

Kinda excited to see if we hear anything about Dragons Dogma 2, kinda dreading ubisofts splinter cell reveal becuase I can guarantee it'll closer to a fry cry game than splinter cell

Unless its a big game being announced at a Sony/Microsoft conference at E3. i really dont care. EA can announce Star Wars edgy fallen jedis at EA conference. Ubisoft can announce its own shit. Last good multiplatform reveal that took spot on Sony/Microsoft Conference was DMC5. and that is okay because its DMC and Capcom doesnt have a E3 conference anyway.
