I liked it
I liked it
What's wrong with you?
Me too. I liked all the DaS1 areas, one of my favorite games. I also dropped DaS2 shortly after the pirate area, what an awful game.
I skipped it.
I got to the part where the lightning deer kill you in the blizzard and gave up on that shit
I really liked it too at first but grew to hate it
It is literally lava bloom eye-fuck lava dragon ass fuck temple™
(chaos bedroom included)
How in the shit is it appealing to you?
That's optional content on the final DLC dude, you should go back and finish it
remaster or original, which is better?
I honestly think people overexaggerate how bad it is. You can just run past everything so fucking fast. Its a tiny area compared to everywhere else
The biggest flaw of Dark Souls is its second half, and 80% of the flaws of the second half have a lot more to do with Lost Izalith itself than Dukes, or Tomb of Giants, or anything else for that matter.
Fuck that place.
thats optional dlc dumb fuck, stop hate shilling ds2 when it’s clear you haven’t played it.
What exactly is wrong with this area? I didn't really notice that much wrong with it when I played it. Bed of chaos wasn't even hard either. No bait
>got through main game
>playing dlc
>didn't play it
what?
That's not the point. I actually had fun engaging enemies everywhere else in the game. Even blighttown was enjoyable because of the mixture of ranged enemies, fast evasive enemies, big slow enemies, and environmental challenges. Same for Sens.
Lost Izalith just feels like it was rushed in development and there's no reason to fight any enemies or do literally anything at all in the entire area unless you care about Siegmeyer's quest.
What are those bizarre things with the multiple eyes? Thank god they're easy to kill. I feel like this whole area is warped by some fucked up shit.
I love DS2 and consider it to be way better than a lot of people give it credit for. It has the best pvp in the series and some really great dlc, but you're deluding yourself if you think Frostfuck valley with the reindeer is an enjoyable level in any way. Actually terrible.
I liked it on the first playthrough. DS3 did it 10x better
Fun fact: the ganksquad, Sir Alonne, and The King's Pets are all optional COOP challenges of the DLCs.
>all three areas suck absolute ass and are unfun to get through
>two of them contain garbage invader or recycled asset bosses
>third one is hiding one of the best boss fights of the series
I almost missed Alonne because I did Old Iron King last and those optional areas had a pretty awful track record.
Overcooked lighting on the lava
Enemies haphazardly placed with little care for player progress like basically every other area in the game, instead it's just a giant dragon fuck gank fest
Visibly unfinished geometry and texturing before the bed of chaos
The bed of chaos
Asylum Demon 2.0 prelude
"Izalith" in itself is unusually short for what seems like an important location in the lore
It's important to remember that Dark Souls 1 itself was probably reworked and re-scrapped together several times during its development.
I recall that Ash-Lake was once meant to be some sort of "second-hub", in the developer commentaries.
It seems quite likely that the kiln of the first flame itself was probably once meant to be accessed in some different fashion as well, for me at least.
Gameplaywise, souls games are garbage, too slow, and wonky, and once you understand how awful is the ai you will notice how cheap they implemented the difficulty on the games, also the multiplayer is garbage and always had lag problems, but the world is amazing and the designs of creatures is fucking great.
I'm not usually stop and look for better angles to observe the scenery on a game, but souls games are gorgeous on that department.
shitty bosses
No you didn’t faggot
