I've been avoiding Yea Forums for weeks and know literally nothing about this game but I've just arrived at Ashina Castle Gate and helped the tall guy out with the "rats"

Anyways, so far this is one of the best experiences I've had with a game in my life. This is fully recapturing the feeling of playing Dark Souls for the first time, having to put the controller down and wait it out after every boss because my heart is pounding so hard. The combat and movement are perfect changes to the Souls formula. Okay back to avoiding everything

Nah, it's good. Definitely better than DS2 and 3, better than DeS. Maybe as good as DS1, but BB is still the best one.

Anyone knows how the switch version is? I played it a few months before release in a french convention but the framerate was even worse than usual.

I wasn't feeling it at first but after you beat the horse guy the game becomes so good it could be my favourite
Everything opens so much and you have a lot of very distinct areas to explore in whatever order you want, and also you start getting more interesting moves and abilities

I would like to know why FROM said "Is not a souls game" implying Souls is not just about the lore but also the difficulty. I thought they would make a more accessible video game but it's as difficult as any souls. Or maybe I misinterpreted the words at some point? I'm confused. It's not a continuation of anything, it's a new IP, why did they have to say something evident?
