I don't know you.
I don't know what games you like.
I don't know what jrpgs you like.
I don't know what kind of stories you like.
I don't know how much anime weebshit you can tolerate.

Your two friends would have a much better idea than anyone here.

Fuck head.

>Do you like JRPGs?
>Are you willing to invest in a proper, Epic styled fantasy game?
>Will you sperg out at the game taking cues from shounen style setups?
>Will you sperg out at the game having big anime tiddays?
>Are you able to read tutorials and actually understand the combat system?
>Are you able to avoid spoiling the entire plot and every twist by going on Yea Forums, and thus ruining the pacing of the game's reveals?

If you answered yes to all of those, you'll love it and it'll be one of if not the best game you've played in a long, long time.

If you answered yes to most of them, you'll love it.

If you answered no to all of them, you'll hate it.

Don't support Monolith, let them shrivle and die, look into another RPG

It's a fantastic game, and one I consider to be absolutely a masterpiece. But it's definitely not for everyone.

If it's the kind'a game you'll like and that hits your buttons, you'll probably adore it. It's got a fantastic cast, a great story, a beautiful world, a surprisingly deep combat system and if you're familiar with the genre you'll see how it constantly turns around or subverts classic tropes or expected situations (eg. Mor Ardain and how they're introduced), very nice. It's janky in parts and stupid in others, but it's the literal definition of a flawed gem, a game that's 10/10 in spite of it's flaws.

Play with JP voices

It's my favorite favorite game on the system at this moment, but that's just my opinion, if you like JRPGs I think you should definitely get it, specially if you liked the first Xenoblade (which is not a prequel and not needed to have played before but it's also a great game that I would recommend).

Also the DLC is great, if you get the game consider getting it while you play the main story so you get extra new Blades, quests, items and stuff for the main game, then when you finish it you can play the extra DLC game.

do you need to play any other game in the series before that?

Yes. I didnt think I would like it but it's one of my favorite switch games/recent games. If you like it grab Torna as well

no, I haven't played the first or X and I understood the story.

Morag and brigid are severely underrated

You will get a bit more of the references at the end of the game if you played Xenoblade 1, but it's not needed, Xenoblade 2 is not a sequel. If you have the option to play 1 too it's worth it if the visuals are not too dated for you.

I would only advice on that if you can understand the language or you really dislike the English dub or you have played the game before in English. The thing about playing with JP voices is that you will miss out the battle banter and other minor commentaries during exploration that provide character building and are not subtitles, even each of your rare blades have a good bunch of unique lines.

Yh if I do get it I will be playing on jp voices cuz the English voices are cringe

>cuz the English voices are cringe
Do American children nowadays think that other English dialects are "cringe"?

Im from britbong bud and I still wouldn’t play a game like this in eng dub

Probably just weebs, I played the game first in English and did NG+ in Japanese, both dubs are good.

*yawn* one of the worst Xeno games.

The scene with Vandham's death was literally some of the worst voice work I've heard in a dub since 90s anime.

This

If you already own a Switch and like JRPGs then yes, 100%

If you can tolerate more of this then you're golden.

Dude, use spoiler tags, there are people in this thread that haven't played the game.

Do those work on Yea Forums? I swear the last half doze times I tried they did nothing so I stopped bothering.

test.

test test test

What the fuck.

>Jp voices
>When Welsh Nia and Overdramatic Zeke and Malos is a thing

The scene with Vandham's death was legitimately some of the worst dub voice acting I've heard since watching anime in the 90s.

the direction is what's shit, not the accents

Or in other words, "cringe".

So cringy, why did I ever consider buying this game, I'll just go back to completing my copy of KH3.

This is the saddest attempt at a false-flagging thread I've ever seen.

He's right bros.......:(

>"So cringy"
>"I'll just go back to completing my copy of KH3!"
