I want events to have more of an impact on town layout. Have festivals with multiple elements - on the river, near the stores etc. Have one week a year where an extra bridge with a toll exists, and all the money that goes to the toll, goes to whatever public works project is up. Stuff like that. I want more variety in how I experience the town itself, and less focus on the plaza exclusively.

I feel like the only one who wants it to actually be stronger (and a little smarter, forming paths if you walk on them specifically), but I do understand the reasoning people dislike it. New Leaf kind of did this.

In a perfect world it would be smarter, but also irrelevant if you have the Beautiful Town ordinance.
