It's fun
It's a fantastic game but it IS an isometric strategy game from the PS1 era, so you've got to adjust your expectations accordingly. Play by its rules and you'll have a great time. Keep expecting modern vidya conveniences and you'll just be frustrated.
I guess. Clearly people tried to sell you a game without explaining to you that you'd need to have a high school education to enjoy it.
FFT is an easy game if you stumble upon any one of the many overpowered skills. The two most powerful abilities is actually available from the get-go and turns the game into a complete walk in the park, but most people are too dumb to realize it.
If you just sit in the corner and Yell and Accumulate, in a couple of minutes you'll be able to steamroll everybody taking 10 turns for every 1 of theirs and can one-shot everybody
So Yea Forums...
OG translation, or WOTL?
The fun part of FFT is steamrolling the game with the most ridiculous abilities.
>tfw Calculating Holy while your entire party is wearing holy-absorbing gear to 1shot the entire enemy team
It's not that good, really.
You won't use half the classes cause you'll beat the game already.
Absolutely no reason to grind for a Dark Knight cause it's so tedious and just by doing the grinding, you'll be overpowered, not even mentioning the OPness of the class itself.
Pretty sure you'll get some, muh nostalgia goggle comments, which in part is true, but i also enjoy turn based games. I like the Ivalice world and the job system.
Just grind Manadlia plain before you even attempt Dorter
i have the PSP emu on my phone and grind there until i have a ninja Ramza, then super breeze the game for fun.

If you're a brainlet maybe. I'll give you the early levels being hard as fuck though.
