Experimental is when it should count the most, retardo.

A game being 'experimental' means its taking risks. Taking risks means you're sticking to your guns, not watering down your ideas for the sake of greater appeal. DeS has the best co-op and PvP in all of Souls for that reason, it is the original vision of what it should be like. Just you and a couple other dudes against the PvE and stat-boosted invaders equipped with shit like Scraping Spear/Baby Nail to serve as minibosses. No covenants, no stacking odds against invaders, no get-out-of-jail-free cards like Seed of a Tree of Giants.

Every other game muddied the systems up more and more until it became the joke that it is in DaS3.

To be fair I was a PC only boi till I played Demon's Souls at a friends house for 15 minutes. I bought a PS3 for it.

Played, beat and enjoyed every minute of it. I think most of the hate comes from the fact that the trash mobs are more difficult than other soulsborne games. People can't get past that and assume it's because the game is unfair or bad.

The only one I tried was Bloodbourne

I quickly realized these kinds of games are not for me. I simply do not have the patience to git gud these days.

It's the last I played and it's very objectively and factually the best, most varied and most polished, especially the last DLC is great.

Dark Souls 2 is absolutely unpolished overrated jank, espeically the whole second half. You literally have to have a nigger tier IQ to think it's the best Souls, let alone a great game.

The Surge isn't bad at all for what it is (a Souls clone) and definitely a league better than Fallen and in my opinion also better than Nioh and Souls 2.

I played BB and all 4 Souls games. Lords of the Fallen is on my Steam acc., have no intrest in other 3 games from the list.

SotfS is a massive downgrade from a game that isn't even good to begin with, how do you rate it so high?

ds3 and 2 are garbage cashgrabs and suck equally if for different reasons

For what it lacks in the soul department, DaS3 is probably the most polished and finished experience in the trilogy. There are no Izalith-tier low points in the game that I dread going to every time I replay it, and the game is nearly technically flawless in terms of things like hitboxes, collision and general bugginess with the exception of the baffling teleporting dogs, but that's only a single blemish on an otherwise spotless game.
