Aren’t Shinobi considered a different thing from Ninjas?
Shinobi =/= Ninja
retard
Shinobi = Ninja. They are literally no different.
He is a Shinobi, you fucking retard
Because he's dressed as a peasant and that's what peasant farmers wore at the time.
The all-black look comes from a cultural thing in traditional japanese plays, where the stagehands would wear all black to appear as if they were not on stage. You were supposed to ignore a person on stage if he wore all black. When shinobi were portrayed in a play, they would wear all black as well as a subtle joke about being invisible/not seen.
From what we know about shinobi in feudal japan, they mostly acted as spies and agents, infiltrating hostile regions by disguise and trickery. Dressing like a peasant was one of the most common tricks, which is why a lot of "ninja weaponry" came from improvised farming tools, like those sickles on ropes that you sometimes see, or kunai, which was essentially just any sharp object that could be thrown. Current media popularized shit like all black wearing katana wielding shuriken throwing ninjas. In a historical way, Sekiro's outfit is more accurate than just all black.
he's a shinobi dumbass
How is that a problem?
Shinobi sounds more based.
Based
That's a wizard, not a ninja.
They probably strictly use the word "shinobi" instead of "ninja" because people would start complaining that he doesn't look like Ryu Hayabusa.
Regardless of what historical shinobi did (probably not run around with a legendary katana and throw shuriken), a darker and less visible outfit would be better suited for someone who likes to sneak around in dark areas and tall grass.
You might have a point. You don't need stealth when you can split moon in half.
Do you obey the Iron Code, young wolf?
>make a code for your son
>rule #1 is "follow my orders or die"
I'm not some bootlicking faggot, dad
You'd probably stand out more wearing darker colors like black or hiding your face or some shit retard.
If he didn't want to stand out, he'd wear the clothing/armour of the enemy.
Aparently this shit was real too.
Owl is a little whiny bitch anyways
What makes you think it wasn't?
I LOVE ninja
Not sure how the picture is relevant though? Any other streamers you guys like??
Why would ancient nips wear baskets over their head?
Crazy flutist with a basket on his head? Nothing.
And in season 2 Naruto wears darker outfit, because he's a disciple of an elite shinobi and more elite himself, holy fuck.
1) ninjas didn't dress like stereotypical ninjas. they were in DISGUISE. they dressed like fucking peasants
2) brighter clothes take less dye to make than darker clothes, so only peasants wore them
this is why Naruto wears orange and Sasuke wears dark blue; he's from nobility, Naruto is just a commoner
but Sasuke was from the metaphorical nigger clan hated for generations while Naruto was the Hokage's son
Sasuke was from the most prestigious and powerful clan in the ninja world while Naruto was literally who, nobody knew he was Hokage's son.
Minato was also a literally who, he wasn't from super cool kekkei genkai bazilion chakra clan.
>but Sasuke was from the metaphorical nigger
no. In most shounen there is one family or one character that's more like old school very strict japanese origin. very proud, formal, guarded etc. very black hair and attire typical of the family line. it;s almost on the nose how all that isolationism killed the uchihas
That's Hyuuga though. Uchiha weren't isolationists or that strict at all, Tobirama and Danzo were isolating them, not they themselves.
I concede.
remember when naruto was like "ok neji i'll end slavery" and then he didn't and married the daughter of a slaveowner
How
>That's Hyuuga though
the Hyuuga had a thing with family order. they were nobles. the uchiha with a pure blood clan.
>Tobirama and Danzo were isolating them, not they themselves.
That was in response to the way the Uchihas behaved in the first place. they feared them.
FWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
>and then he didn't
Did you fucking not watch the show? Hiashi literally tells Edo Tensei'd Hizashi that they don't do the main/branch family shit anymore.
You mean how ONE Uchiha, whom other Uchihas condemned behaved.

stop posting pedoshit
what the heck that headless guy takes out of sekiro's anus and puts it in his anus
>tits as big as her head
>pedoshit
are you legitimately mentally challenged?
it's the exact same thing you pretentious loser
Hi newfriend
his soul
en.wikipedia.org
>[...], or gaining power by taking their shirikodama (尻子玉), a mythical ball said to contain the soul, which is located inside the anus.[12][17][18]
1. It's not THAT bright
2. You could argue that, given daytime operations around a lot of wood and turning leaves, orange is better camo than standard dark blue.
sounds like the prostate
shinobi=male ninja
kunoichi=female ninja.
either way you're right, but it's more specific than just ninja.
>>wears a bright orange outfit
Depends, etc... but still, as long as a shinobi stays OUT of SIGHT, then it's doing OK. Being relaxed makes you a juicy and soft target to kill easier, that's why so many nignogs can knockout people since they don't expect it, either out of stupidity or otherwise.
why is it in the ass though? Because buttfucking feels that good?
anal = soul
vagina = soulless
it's not really all that bright. in the dark it's pretty drab. of course if you shine a light on it it'll look bright, most things look clearer with direct light on them. It also tells you to sneak up behind or through tall grass, or wait behind a corner. All these things make sight useless.
where else would you put the "small anus ball"?
Were kunoichi ever a real thing? Maybe they'd work as spies, but women in combat are extremely rare for good reason.
How different does anal sex feel for women anyways
I fucking knew it.
I'm a fag so I couldn't tell ya. I hear it hits the G-spot in a better way but I dunno.
So its supposed to be a Kappa but what happened to it? How come it became headless. Must be some lore reason to it.
Does Sekiro mean one armed wolf? That's what Isshin implies I think.
I dunno but the term exists. There must have been some, even just a small few. I'd imagine they'd be a more spy or saboteur role than combat, but the men also did too. Ninjas were actually not used for assassination regularly. It happened only if they were told to Ninja does not equal Assassin. They did do them though if their lord asked them to for the usual political reason that assassination is done for. That's what assassination is, killing for political reasons. Usually the target would be a political figure up there, there's actually also no records of kunai being used as throwing knives or knives in general, no records of shuriken or ninjatos. There's not much mention of Ninjas using poison either, but that doesn't mean they didn't, it's possible they did, but it's not usually considered part of their arsenal.
it's like a shortened version of a japanese phrase that means that, I think. I don't know this for sure.
the question is why is it an anus ball at all. I'm not saying it can't be, just asking why it is.
all the headless are fallen heroes, you get an infinite consumable that uses emblems if you kill one
sekiroshadowsdietwice.wiki.fextralife.com
they kinda look like kappas with their missing heads and hair
Dark color is shit in tall grass though. Brown earthy color (which is what sekiro has) actually blends very well into the environment in daylight. Many big predator have that coat color such as lion, tiger, and other big cats etc...
In the dark, color actually doesn't matter because everything is fucking dark in those day with poorly lit lamps.
some are actually just straight said that they had their head removed. I think the one in the water in Ashina says that. The spiritfall items say that I mean.
Sekiwan no Ookami means one armed wolf
You can read the kanji for Wolf (Ookami) as Ro though, so in a way it's a shortened version of one armed wolf.
who is this and how old is she, that's the only way to objectively solve this argument
I don't like how people say that Owl took the divine dragon's arm, when Takeru chopped it off when the dragon offered it as a gift when he left the divine realm. What's worse is there are some saying that the arm being lost is tied to Owl taking a branch of the Everblossom.
no it's not
if she looks mature you're not a pedo for being attracted to her even if she's underage
Soulsfags tried to approach Sekiro lore the same way they tried to approach its combat.
so, without any idea how it works.
What the serpent hearts do?
is there a mod that removes that big ass red danger sign ( that blocks my vieuw )
I'd like it more if it appeared over the enemy's head versus sekiro's.
You have to feed them to riceloli, it's required for the return ending
I actually wonder how this works, normally she would have died eating them, but since she's got resurrection, did that just make her cold like a dead body would be and that's why she cried frozen tears?
I think white would look pretty cool.
white would stick out though unless the place was absolutely covered in snow.
Yeah thats true. The early locations like in that screenshot would look nice. There's a green one I found that looks pretty legit.
based
He got good, only scrubs need to dress in black.
damn right
I would FUCK sarada
For fuck sake, they should've added fashion to the game.
I sincerely hope they didn't decide to not implement it because of no online component...
The idea was to remove their egos
I would not have minded faction outfits that you can get from vendors at certain points. Like outfits you can wear that don't really imply you're part of that faction but more to look cool. Y'know, Ashina, Owl, Ministry, Sunken Valley, Divine, Great Carp, Mibu, Senpou, Shura. They don't have to serve a purpose other than aesthetics of course. Maybe something that even has a similar pattern to Kuro's kimono.
Blending in is for wimps
Most classic vidya ninjas don't sport black because they're too badass for that shit
Ninjas were regupar duded who looked like peasants but had a shank with your name on it.
le sneaky night swordsman meme is a fairy tale
just like Naruto.
ninjas could actually be part of the upper samurai class. There wasn't really ever a samurai vs ninja thing it was more "this clan vs this clan" and both could have ninjas AND samurai. However dressing as a peasant lets one blend in with commoners.
To be user without internet
woah... that's actually pretty cool
kek
Should have worn camo
yeah with some kevlar armor, and wielding a tacticool katana.
>rehashes the same bosses multiple times
>nu Yea Forums pretends it's somehow better than when DaS2 did it because of ironic weeaboos
Reused enemies and the fact that you go to the same area 3 times with different enemies is probably my biggest problem with the game.
That said, at least it saved them a lot of time and the game finally feels finished.
With all the recycling its still the shortest fromsoft game by a good margin.
so? Length doesn't exactly equate to a fun game. I probably would've cut out the majority of DS1's second half if I were given the chance.
same, new londo and sens funhouse are so dull I usually drop the game at that point
both of those zones are more interesting than any zone in Sekiro.
Sekiro like DaS3 doesn't really do fun or engaging environments, the focus is squarely on combat and bosses.
hm. I'm thinking about getting sekiro when it's on sale because the combat looked like I'll enjoy it. I'll see then how I like it, I mean you can't even change anything about your character or even weapons, so enemies better have some variety then
common enemies have different movesets and they mix up the commons ever few zones so it's not terrible, the bosses mix it up far more.
It's good for 1 run but is way worse for replays because you can't really spec differently.
>Game about being a ninja
>At no point do you spend months ingratiating yourself to a noble as a retainer so you can poison his food
Priests of some kind if I remember.
I think I heard some mention about some kind of longer and harder true ending, is this true? Any reason I shouldn't spoil myself so I know what choises to make to get this, since I most likely won't care to do ng+ run just to get another ending?
isn't there a mod that makes them more transparent instead of just smaller?
uchiha are more akin to jews than niggers really
Ninjas dressing in all black is just something that comes from theatrical plays so that they could give them the element of surprise to pop out suddenly from the background
There are 4 endings, I'll try not to spoil them.
One ending involves you not breaking the rules, this is considered the bad ending and cuts the game short.
One ending involves you breaking the rules, this is pretty much the canon way to play without looking up guides.
One ending is an alternative to the previous ending, and basically involves you eavedropping on specific NPCs to get an optional bossfight before you finish the game.
And the last ending is basically Bloodbornes true ending where you need to know exactly what to do before hand.
You need specific items from specific NPCs and you can't progress beyond a certain point without doing specific things.
This ending is 15 steps on the wiki, so yeah it's the one you really need a guide for.
If you really want this "Best ending" you are gonna spoil yourself to get it most likely.
this x10, as to why i think this game is pretty lackluster overall, theres no customization, no cool builds, no fashion, the same damn sword combos from the first second to the last of your play-through, it gets stale. Hope they stick to their traditional routes for whatever game comes next
>op is a faggot and doesnt know the first thing about historically accurate ninjas
blodoborne was more forgiving though with that. You can get four cords so you have a chance of missing two of them or getting both of them. I guess 3 of them cause only 1 is given by story. And then all combinations of getting any of those three, but only two of those three are required. It's only slightly less douchey than how much you need to do in sekiro.
I think it was fine, I was hoping the different styles pertained to basic attacks as well as the special attacks but the game is fine.
thank, I'll think about what I'll do still
i think the game is really fun, i just want more variety in the way i play, like i doubt i'll be doing more than 2 play-throughs max if at all. Unlike Dark souls where i've played through maybe 10+ times and it's been a different build and experience every time
the only real reason to play a single extra playthrough is to NG+ to test your parrying, finish every upgrade (which you could honestly almost do in your first playthrough anyway) and get the secret ending.
You are not able to reobtain items that improve your stats in NG+ besides the attack power you get from bosses which maxes at 99.
Unless you want to replay the game many times to hit 99 (which would be scaled to the NG+ you're on anyway) it's just pointless.
A-are you talking about Dark Souls? Are you dumb? There are 10 classes to choose from, thousands of build combinations, and "the only real reason to play a single extra playthrough is to NG+ to test your parrying" BAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA
>attack power from bosses
>dark souls
Are you legitimately retarded, user?
I was obviously talking about Sekiro
>all these these years later and sakurafags ARE STILL fuming
didnt read that part so yeah i am retarded
oh then im in 100% agreement
I've just finished my second run and really enjoyed how much improvement I felt, makes me want to push to do more and more runs faster and faster. Not full speedrun mode, but just boot it up and blast through it in a 2/3 session or something. I love shit like that, though. Games that are simple on the surface but have a level of skill involved that makes doing a fast run satisfying.
to be fair I said parry instead of deflect but it's just too much of a habit, like calling sculptors idols bonfires, gourds estus and blacks niggers.
*2/3 hour session
A-are you stupid?
Historically that's how it use to be, bright orange is what low born peasants wore. So to better blend in they would wear that. Black is worn by high class and nobles.
More of an earthy orange then a bright Naruto orange. It blends in surprisingly well depending on what your up against. Funnily enough it seems like it’d be better suited for daytime stealth then nighttime
Ichigo marries Orihime, Renji marries Rukia. I like both of those things.
when it's dark enough out, everything is black, good thing wolf can see in the dark.
Yet another shameless Nioh ripoff
>Orange suit and is a ninja....
well for one it's a very stupid choice when you are a person made for stealth.
>Were kunoichi ever a real thing?
Yeah, but not really in the "ninja" sense. Kunoichi were basically trained as entertainers and courtesans. She'd play some music, you'd take her up to your room to fuck her, and then she'd slit your throat while you were nutting.
>Black =/= Nigger
nioh tried copying parts of the dark souls formula first. From just made a game that is theirs and also japanese themed.
earthy tones are better for hiding amongst earthy toned areas, and during the day which half the game takes place in, they'd see if they looked at you no matter the color, at night you can't see the color as well anyway. It's a more accurate choice for a lot of reasons, it's not all about accuracy though, but they wanted some.
being a nigger is a way of life
name an area where there is bright orange and blue in Japan, especially when those colors contrast and are designed to to make each other pop out a grab attention.
Ghost Dog Way of The Samurai, but that guy was kinda cool, he did live in a pretty ghetto area.
but it's not bright it's a duller orange. Other ninjas are wearing purple with white hoods, and some fall from the sky screaming wooooooooo.
say something mean about these two
source?
Are we talking about Naruto or this ninja dude, because bright orange is not an Earthly color that is natural around your surroundings.
>rice loli loves you because you're a giant walking unripe persimmon
the tac vests were the coolest design of Naruto though
Seconding this, saucenao and yandex aren't giving me shit
I'm talking about Sekiro, not naruto, Sekiro's is a duller orange.
you know I said that in an ironic way but I'd like to see what wolf looks like in it now.
user its a game... If he would blend with the scenery players would have a problem seeing where they are
