SIR, THE LAST GAME I PLAYED WAS DEVIL MAY CRY 5, SIR. COMPARED TO PAST ENTRIES THE ENEMY ROSTER IS VASTLY IMPROVED AND BOTH MAIN CHARACTERS ARE STRAIGHT UPGRADES ON THEIR PREVIOUS ITERATIONS, THOUGH THE NEW GUY IS VERY SIMPLISTIC BY COMPARISON, SIR.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 (2018)

Despite the initial lootbox controversy and some gnawing flaws regarding level and game design, Battlefront 2 is a fun game and scratches that Star Wars itch with its outstanding graphics and sound design.

That's the best I can do.

I did review the last game I played. It just wasn't a positive review:

Being an adult and having adult responsibilities sucks. But I worked really hard, busted my ass all month, and managed to earn myself an hour of free time! So I thought I would play Hitman! WOOO!

Here's how that hour went:

Not as much as I love doctors who don't bother to check if a medication will make birth control stop working before they prescribe it, women who say "well you're still glad it happened right?" and a society that would instantly label me the bad guy if I decided to walk out on all of this insanity so I would have free time to enjoy things. I think what I really "love" is all of that. My entire life is that review.

My goth gf in high school bought it and I thought "this will suck since I just got her into vidya" Tried it out myself a few years later and it was fantastic. It's flawed but the contemporary setting and writing makes it a classic RPG. I went Gangrel my first time, and you?

Killing Floor 2 has probably the best gun-play of any game I can think of, where each weapons feels different from the last and is fun to use. Enemies are varied and have particular strengths and weaknesses, which requires teamwork to win. Gore looks good. 10/10

I played System Shock 2 modded and enjoyed the comfy late 90s polygon models with hi-res textures. It was a joy seeing the original Dark engine thoroughly modded to the point of being unrecognizable.
