Or that whilst American, the games have featured British & other nationalities characters prominently. As well as nods to many British storylines, parodies & humour.
Not forgetting that the bulk of work done for the games is by the British studio.
Just because it'd be set in London doesn't mean it wouldn't have American storylines, characters etc.

I expect Vegas but I'd love VC again. But more than location I want a different time. Modern day is boring as fuck and has always been the worst GTAs. From terrible music to bland topical humor, it just sucks.
One thing for sure, it's already locked in. Production would have just started a couple of months ago and I'm sure the overall story and location are set. We won't know for probably 2 years. I'd be happy with VC remade beat for beat in the RDR2 engine. Add swimming and better controls but I'd replay it exactly as it was.

Hey anons. Rockstar insider here. We're doing RDR Remake first, but you probably already know that because of data mining. After that we've got a new IP set for around 2021 that's basically a repurpose of a bunch of assets we had for the cancelled Agent game. It's not open world, but levels are open sort of like Hitman. It takes place in the mid 60s, you've got the choice of a male or female protagonist, and the big feature they're going to market is the seemingly large number of ways to go about finishing each mission.
After that is a non-numbered GTA title set in 90s Vice City that I don't know much about. Please look forward.
