City builders and Mobas scavenged the always split communities of RTSs.
As long as the inherent split exists in RTS, it'll be rough to attract both halves.

Because pc gaming is dying in general.

total war is really simplified, i wouldnt consider it a "normal" RTS

Zoomers and söyboys don't play RTS games. So the market act accordingly to them, after all they are the majority.
