Finally got the stupid crab achievement. Now only Deicide left and newt altar one. Don't really want to bother with monsoon but at least it's something challenging. Yes, although the first two stages can vary so it's more like 6 playable stages, plus the bazaar, the gold boss and the obelisk. Everyone expects at least one true ending / bossfight to be implemented though since that's how the formula worked in RoR1

It took me about 10-15 minutes on the Plains stage. You can probably do it as any character besides Engineer (your turrets might kill them), but mobility helps speed things up. I did it as Mercenary.
Also, if you have a lot of proc items like ukeleles, be careful when attacking because the crab could die in a chain reaction. You mainly want survivability and mobility items so you can ignore enemies, but it shouldn't matter too much.

Can someone try to explain what I'm doing wrong? I've been able to add a custom console command just fine so I know I'm repacking the DLL fine, but when I try to modify most things it just doesn't seem to affect anything in game. For example, I tried to add a call to Debug.Log in EntityStates.Huntress.HuntressWeapon.IdleTracking.FixedUpdate and its never being printed in the console.

Past level 4 you get enough money from doing the teleporter to open everything on the map. You are wasting time and dooming your run and will be outscaled if you don't teleporter rush. Farming on magma level for legendary chests is fine though if you only have one or two players.

Considering how Loader's Grappling Hook is being moved to HAN-D and how his Conduits wouldn't work that well in a 3D environment, I think Loader himself is pretty much dead.
However, there is something called Hauler in the code, so that might be his replacement.

it's be easy to make conduits work in 3D.
just let him place 3 of them, and everything in the middle of the conduit triangle takes damage.
to keep it balanced they can make conduits do less damage the farther they are apart, so you can't just go to the edge of the maps and place them.

In multiplayer, characters such as artificer, huntress, and engineer don't function properly. All my friends were able to play, but those characters had broken functionalities to them. Huntress' M1 didn't do damage unless you were host, Artificer's M1 just went through enemies, and Engineer's tripmines and bubble shield didn't work.

There's always one tucked away in a tiny cave under the rocks in a crevice near the middle of the map. There are orange glowy plants near the entrance and rock partly obscuring it if you approach from the middle of the map.

Turns out IdleTracking is unused and thats actually handled by RoR2.HuntressTracker.

nope but I'm not sure why people would host vanilla lobbies. If you want 4 player lobbies you can still do that with sv_maxplayers 4 and just ask people to not turn on modifiers/artifacts
Hopoo added a variable specifically requesting modders to set it to true, which then changes the game's Buildid, you can only join lobbies with your Buildid. I could easily get rid of it but that's kind of bad form

oh I forgot to mention the "fix" just disables spirit in glass mode.
There's too many issues with it in glass mode (as you noticed).

Hopoo should absolutely balance the characters to be more fun where applicable, but, whether or not a character is UP, you should learn to make them work for YOU instead of refusing to play them. Makes the game much more enjoyable that way.

How does shift and M2 help you against the Overloading Worm at all when you're Merc? Except to aid in your escape as you spam R and nothing else.

There's no i-frames on the beginning and end of your dash and even if there were you'd have a good window of time for the Worm to just wreck your shit. I legitimately see no way to kill the worms as Merc except with an active item.

Most first stage deaths are really by Wisps trickling you down than the boss. Pay attention to them and you can get rid of the Titan ezpz.
