Are there horses?

Is it unfinished? Are they going to make the graphics better? because it’s looking like a $15 game at best

oh no, it's $40 and I turned my graphics up to high

I mean if you count wendingos that ass rape you as horses, then sure

neat, going to try it after work when it is done downloading, torrent is pretty small too

>inb4 can't sleep reee

Attached: 20190331223734_1.jpg (1920x1200, 474K)

That's a funky looking Gothic mod.

shill this game to me

I just pirated it to give it a try, and as far as I could tell the game is VERY indie. Basic shit like ambient sounds were missing, with rain not even having any sound and clipping through every surface like in 2011 Skyrim.
The game also feels very unoptimized given the lackluster graphics, and if you disable/turn down too much of the graphics options the game ends up looking worse than a ps3/xbox360 game.

I wanted to like the game given its premise, but it honestly is too much of an indie trash title.

It's not worth pirating play something else.

Attached: 20190330124921_1.jpg (1920x1200, 691K)

What are the romance options like?

Thanks I guess I'll play enderal instead.

There are none.

Looks like shit, what the fuck are those mobile tier graphics

Attached: nothing.jpg (300x300, 28K)

that's what passes for a full release in 2019

>no jank
why you lie OP?

Just cleared the main story for the first time, thinking of doing a more interesting build for my second character.

>Use legacy chest to give myself Lantern of Souls
>Unlimited flamethower
>Kazite spellblade, taking infuse cold and discharge
>Join holy mission, getting infuse lightning
>Able to deal fire, cold or lightning damage at the drop of a hat
>Long range cold and lightning damage if needed via discharge

This looks like a multiplayer game but steam page says single player, I'm confused. Redpill me on the gameplay.

The game fucking sucks stop shilling it.
These shitty slav tier games always get shilled on here, no matter how broken and buggy a game is and no matter how retarded the mechanics, you guys love it because its not popular. Very few of the games like this are actually good.
Morons comparing it to mount and blade should be shot. This shit is gothic 3.

It's totally multiplayer. All one of your friends can join online or splitscreen you cunt

what build did you use the first time?

>ass rape you as horses

Hello quebecois dev shill
Your game STINKS and is BORING

post some of the waifus

>good combat

this guy will be your gf

Attached: 20190329110132_1.jpg (1920x1200, 473K)

Mountain Blade is absolutely fucking terrible and Yea Forums loves it so no wonder they'd enjoy more jank.
I see a little praise for Elex too, which is jank incarnated.

Calling it Gothic 3 is a compliment. The game is worse than that, to be perfectly honest.

Worth a pirate?

Combat is great but it's a definite casual filter. Idiots who think Dark Souls is "hard" will get their shit slapped and then bitch about it here.

nope.

move along now

oh god elex, some people on Yea Forums unironically love it.

M&B is an actual good game though you fucking pleb. My point was these tards eating up all these turds because they are janky weird shit. Shit like elex as you mentioned was talked about as if it was Stalker or M&B. Janky games with unique mechanics that make it worth the issues are super rare. Maybe the closest to that recently is Kenshi, but its far too niche imo.

>Mountain Blade

Attached: XQkFnPiw_400x400.jpg (400x400, 22K)

ahh, thanks for the heads up but i figure i will let it finish downloading and give it a whirl, doesn't cost anything to try it anyway

Ok how about the shitty fucking pirate themed gothic that steam advertises on my frontpage every fucking week, or is it still even worse than that

I'm actually kinda interested in this game but have a hard time justifying the purchase. I'd want to get it on PC because of the modding potential but I'm worried my PC can't candle it and there's no demo. Feels bad all around, senpai.

wanted to like this game. The combat is actually shit though. Barely any difference in weapon moveset's. The stability bar that allows guys to clip straight through your weapon and land a free hit. and once you have fully depleted their stability and knocked them down. it gets refilled instantly so you have to start again.

It is worse than that, yes. The game were made by 9 people who decided that they should use unity because unreal engine 4 were too challenging for them. Take that how you will.

this game reminds me of dark souls 2

pirate it. theres no reason not to. If you enjoy the game afterwards and feel like supporting the devs, then consider purchasing it.

was unreal engine 4 even available 5 years ago?

Big oof

>outward
>gud combat
in one of these threads I complained about the combat and a shill told me
>heh no one bought this game expecting good combat stop meming
meanwhile they bring up the combat system like three times in the trailer

steam refunds exist dingus

It isn't hard to convert unity over to unreal engine 4, assuming they did everything right in the first place.

>combat is great
it's shit beyond measure.

notice how no one ever posts webms of it?

I heard the world was painful empty. What is there to do? Dungeons or anything to explore?

No mounts in game.

It's about as enjoyable an explorative experience as unmodded minecraft is.

>Combat is great
Why do you think this?

The graphical options go REALLY fucking low my dude, pirate it and see if it runs. Then buy like a good goy if it does

>>gud combat
can you extrapolate on this? i want to play the game, but im wary of the combat. usually i like playing mages, but setting up rune circles and traps before fights doesnt seem very fun. maybe id just be better off playing a melee character?

where should I pirate it from?
it's not something i generally do, even just to test to see if shit runs

unblocked-pw github io

Figure it out you fucking idiot. You dont need a piracy spoon feed in 2019

pls help

Eurojank/Canadajank is peak videogames.

Yea Forums - graphics and romances

>go into spirit path fort thing
>get killed by ghost
>run around in the dark looking for backpack
i should have used all those varnishes they were throwing at me but i wanted to be cost efficient and use fire rags. I learned my lesson

Also parry skills kind of suck to time

and my bag is too small. Fuck houses i want to live out of my bag like a true murderhobo

>gothic
>no option to play as female
dropped tbqh

Your entire post is a lie

>went to magic mountain to into magic
>Find heroic kingdom entrance
>Walking toward the magic user in the foyer
>See a nicer lantern laying in a literal pile of garbage on the floor
>Instinctively pick it up
>Now the guy wants to murder me with ice balls

Is there any way to make this guy not hostile? I'd rather go with the kingdom over the religious dudes.

It's the dev shilling as he has been from day 1.
Despite being called out for it numerous times he still keeps it up.

>le spawn at random locations when you “die”
Epic gimmick. So what else does this turd offer?

I was interested in it but the constant blatant shilling made me not play it out of spite

decent magic system

It was ok. Exploring was fun and the story was interesting but it was way more janky than gothic 2.

What magic can you get?

Monk, hunter and merc. The weapons I used changed a lot, but it all boiled down to "leap in, slap their shit until they die".

>gud combat
>no jank
Straight up lies. This game has potential but the combat needs a complete overhaul, its absolutely awful in its current state.

do you have magic skills you level up, or are you always reliant on rune circles or whatever? and how is the melee combat?

Why the fuck are waifufags allowed to post? They don't offer anything to threads.

That's just a random ice witch. He's not with the kingdom. Murder his ass. Also if you decide to proceed with that conflux path, you'll have to fight several mana mantises and a sword golem, but the loot is super worth it. Oh, and pressure plate traps everywhere, so watch the ground.

>he shills for free

i keep getting beat by anythign that moves, how do i have fun

>people like talking about a good game
>le shills

Yeah ok.

At low levels especially, use long weapons like poles and spears. They keep you out of attack range and give you time to dodge. Keep healing potions, stamina potions, and bandages on you at all times. Food also gives you healing over time which is very nice.

If something is destroying you, just run.

Are the Mana mantises like the stone one that was on the peak of the mountain? Because I barely was able to beat that one. My axe did very little stability damage to it.

Is this a good game? I've been on the fence for this one.

>good game
Kill yourself shill

Very good, but big learning curve, so expect to get defeated/robbed/enslaved a few times.

If the modding scene takes off i can't wait for caravans or audio mods, i feel as though it would really improve the game.

Trade that mf silver for gold user, waste of weight

everything is hostile you moron
and there is no stealing, nobody gives a shit what you pick up. ffs I hope you looted the mayors chest in cicero and took everything else not nailed down.

>enslaved
you have my atention

IIRC the stone one is a good bit tougher than the mana ones actually. You should be fine if you could kill that one. Do be aware that you might face two at once, in which case try to get one stuck on the terrain, which mantises have a habit of doing.

>Despite being called out for it numerous times he still keeps it up.
literally the only possible explaination

>random location
no, when you die various things happen. When you die in the spirit path you get dragged to the cells by the ghosts

Most of the time dieing sends you somewhere with your bag but i guess since i died in spirit path and those cells were also in spirit path it did not teleport my bag.
Keeping a light source in your clothing inventory is probably a good idea.

its like morrowind, its combat is shit but its fun to run around in the world
only you cant just enchant yourself immortality clothes and one shot everything like you can in morrowind

>kind of interested
>check out game details
>coop progress only for host
Dropped. Why make a game coop if they want you to play by yourself to succeed?

Attached: malefic_magnetic_mammaries.gif (480x270, 1.18M)

well im playing this game and i enjoy having a place to discuss it. I would preffer a general in /vg/ but for some reason you Yea Forums autists refuse to make a new general to push one of the 20 mobile game generals off page 10

go around
put down traps
the net worth of killing anything is never worth the resources you expend, I'm still struggling with this. like the fucking lightning shrimp you get an insect shell and some larve. it's like 11 silver. totally not worth the effort. killing bandits only gives you back shit weapons for your traps, and of course that doesn't count the resources for the traps or loads you used to get the whole one weapon.

If you suck at the combat, here are some tips.

Be proactive. Don't wait for them to attack, this isn't skyrim where you can just block > attack > block > attack ad nauseum. Run up and kick the nigger in the face. Doesn't matter if he's blocking, his stability bar will now be below half. Melee combo him until he gets knocked down and gets back up. Defend until you can repeat.

The greatsword is an excellent weapon, because it has an extremely safe, probing heavy attack. You step forward and chop, then you retreat out of retaliation range. Either you just chunked a fucker and his stability is wrecked, or you hit a block and are safely back where you started. Nothing lost. Abuse this while kick is on cooldown.

How have brainlets not discovered the meta of magic yet? The ruin spells are all you need to slay pretty muxh everything, and the ghost minion is also a very helpful asset.

Attached: 1551272180130.jpg (500x464, 151K)

I mean it puts your bag near you except for the bandit camp/slave mines. I can't imagine spirit path is different.

did you check your compass

>no jank
>gud combat
I was watching some play it yesterday. The combat's janky as fuck, are you kidding?

Your gold lich wearing ass is not special. Everyone knows about low-cost magic. It's not fun being overpowered.

>bandit with a machete can block a thousand hits before falling down
>your metal tower shield can barely block 4 hits
>enemies get knocked down and come right back up like it was nothing
>meanwhile you need life alert cause you've fallen and can't get up.

This is bullshit, why can't my machete match their machetes in terms of stability, and why do I need life alert when I get knocked down?

eurojank : the game

not sure if even worth pirating

>meta of magic
>not using mana reduction gear to get -100% mana usage removing the need to unlock mana in the first place

Its alright. The combat is horrific, but pretty much everything else is surprisingly good. You have a lot of choices between factions to join and bases to live and what kind of skills to learn and use. Theres no EXP system, so the way your character gets stronger is by collecting skills to use that allow you to do things like holding a dagger in your left hand when using a one-handed weapon, making your hunger, thirst, and sleep meters drain more slowly, giving you new magic spells, etc etc etc. Theres actually a huge amount of skills to collect, and they get pretty interesting. Dungeons are also pretty big, and have actual, real puzzles in them to solve, and having a buddy with you to figure them out is an awesome experience that immerses you in the game world. Crafting is rewarding and actually engaging, since most of the components for good shit are rare, encouraging you to explore, and there are vendors in every town that will sell you recipes to make almost everything they sell.
My two biggest gripes are that out of all of the hundreds of possible characters you can create at the start of the game, only like 3 of them are visually appealing. I'm not an incel that has a problem with non-white characters, but in games like this, I tend to make my character white, but literally every white male option was hideous, so I just made a black guy. The asian male selection was also pretty bad. My other gripe is that, again, the combat is shallow, unsatisfying, repetitive, and slow, and its the same across all weapon types. Honestly, if they fixed the combat, this game would be great.

Attached: 1554138691245.jpg (480x480, 28K)

>hack through enemies stability bar like chopping a tree with a toothpick
>finally knock them down
>they're up with a full bar before I can move it

it took me a while to realized this was ALL enemies and not a special feature.

also you are supposed to keep their bar between 1% and 50%, not knock them down.

Says you faggot. It's incredibly fun as fuck vaporizing bandits with lightning and using their soul to recharge my reserves.

Hello new friend

Is there an ingame text chat system?

You can't use magic until you unlock the mana bar from the mountain.

Yes

I will now buy your game. Unrelated: Does anyone know about this "Marz" thing I have in my cart? Is that any good?

The mechanics of outward are built for one on one engagements thanks to it's slow attack animations which are uninterruptible once they start and a lock on camera which focuses heavily on a single foe. Since most actions aren't interruptible after they start it's extremely difficult to know when it's safe to start an attack animation without having vision of the enemy. Most melee fights in outward go like this, you need to avoid attacks from all foes while periodically damaging one but in order to do so you must lock onto one and position yourself in such a way that you can see them all it honestly feels like you are fighting the controls more than the enemies. And in situations where the camera works well, you need an extreme amount of patience to get through any group fights in a safe manner the only strategy is to wait for all enemies to exhaust their entire combo at the same time before doing a single attack on one and then going back on the defensive. if you dare to attack any of these mobs more than a single hit at a time or while multiple foes are still active then you'll usually be punished immediately. The main challenge in these fights is not losing your cool and doing something risky in the end. So really why half of these fights are any difficult at all is because they're so boring you want them to end slightly quicker by seeing if you can maybe get a second attack off before rolling away again. Outward really has adopted a mentality that more enemies somehow makes the gameplay better, there's far more groups that automatically aggro in clumps, other action rpgs have had this idea but the mobs are balanced around this idea with, low health, lacking a shield or do comparatively little damage sometimes all three. Where as large and more heavily armored enemies are put in places where they can be 1 on 1 because it's what matches best with the core mechanics. Outward just haphazardly places massive enemies all over the place.

It's a comfy open world souls game with the eurojank feel of Stalker and survival mechanics similar to but slightly more complex than Breath of the Wild. It is visually unimpressive and the story is passable and unimportant, but the combat is tough but fair. While a lot of people say it's super hard, and it is, it's more that it rewards those who understand the mechanics and doesn't pull punches when faced with players who don't or can't adapt. Once you figure the game out and know what to do to properly face which enemies, combat becomes less difficult and more tactical as you set up traps, sneak into sniping positions, or assemble complex spells out of multiple smaller spells like making fire sigils for your spark spell to become a fireball or stacking different runes together to make magic explosive mines and shoot ball lighting from your magic lantern. Combat is less about mastering iframes and animation-cancel-dodging through someone to stab their back through your own torso and more about knowing what tool to use for the job, although there are iframes and dodge rolling, and if you want to get through the game that way you can, but it will be a lot easier to use bleed arrows and magic explosive runes or to just trick an enemy into a dungeon trap room.

The game feels sorta like first or second edition tabletop D&D. It's all about cheesing monsters that can kill you like a bug under a steam roller using mechanics that seem deliberately broken because the game is actually rewarding you for going through the effort of making a broken build.

I fucking love it, but it's not for everyone.

Wash your mouth to talk shit about Elex, little cunt.

Attached: 1508852563674.jpg (1280x720, 505K)

dealing with multiple strong enemies like this comes across as a hassle rather than a interesting fight which encourages players to use cheap tactics instead of playing fair, in most cases the ai is still easily abusable by backing of into a corner and firing at range or laying down a field of traps to dispatch them, this occurs so often that im left wondering if the designers thought this made for a good gameplay scenario somehow.

>Very indie
It was made by 10 people, so yea. I'm amazed they managed to make what they did, but don't expect a AAA polished experience. They are active on the forums though, or at least as active as they can be with a language barrier.

What kind of jank levels does this game reach compared to elex?

You start off without magic anyways. You have to earn your mana bar by climbing a magical mountain and touching a bigass crystal deep underground, and in the process you need to give up some of your stamina and health.

Also there are other spells beyond just the sigil spells. There is chakram magic and rune magic, chakram magic is rather bland in my opinion since it's mostly just using magic to make your off hand chakram fly around and buzz saw people at range. There is also rune magic, which is my preference, as well as some other magic based skill trees like a spellsword and the shaman skill tree. Rune magic revolves around you casting runes in specific two-rune combinations to create spells, and some advanced spells need other spells to be active, for example if you cast an arcane ward that buffs you, you can cast another spell that removes the ward and heals you, or after you cast a spell to make a magic floating lantern, you can use another spell to shoot ball lighting out of it, if you cast the spell to summon a ghost sword, you can cast it again to turn it into a greatsword.

Shaman magic is more about buffing yourself and getting more out of buffs, and has spells that can reveal the souls of dead enemies and other spells that can consume them to heal yourself or summon a ghost skeleton to fight for you. Both requires some level of prep-time, but really the sigil magic is probably the most limiting in my opinion, and it's a shame that they lead with that spell set in their trailers since it's the weakest kind of magic.

The spellblade stuff is mostly about buffing your melee weapon with magic, and you can remove the buff to cause an explosion on your shield, as well as shield charges and a passive stat buff.

i dislike the way taking all three magic classes kind of sucks and doesnt really syngergize well

The bag was right where i took it off before fighting the ghost and dying. Normally when i remove bag and die fighting the bag still travels to me, but not this time.

if you have 100% reduction you dont even need a single mana point to cast spells.
The games really shit like this, the strongest mage has no mana

Are you using the shitty starting bag or did you buy the slightly less shitty nomad backpack?

You can make a better bag with some scale strips the traveling merchant in town sometimes carries, or find a giantass chest backpack in a nearby bandit camp. Also your compass always points to your backpack and it usually will spawn near you when you wake up.

>survival mechanics of BotW
What exactly do you mean?
I don't recall anything other than maintaining health in that game.

>people are playing and talking about the game so I won't play it.

I've been on /tg/ too long. How long has Yea Forums been this fucking bad?

Years.

few years, 2013 was already getting cancerous so I left, got back in 2018 and holy shit bro, Yea Forums has became what Yea Forums hated, fucking zoomer faggot tranny newfags man

If you get killed by bandits there is a chance you wake up naked in their underground mines and you need to escape somehow. I learned the backstab skill by giving a prisoner a prison shank I made and got out by helping the medic and the cook in order to get out of the mine and get my stuff, the bribed a guard to be dropped off outside. You can also jump into "the hole" or fight your way out if you want.

Is this a game where I can meet new people and make friends or do I require friends first? I cannot do the latter

Some death events teleport your bag and some don't. I got killed by dogs early on and they dragged me to their horrible rape cave so I spawned with my pocket items but my bag was still out in the wilds. Typically if you get captured by bandits or rescued by a hunter or something they will bring your back too, but animals won't.

youre a faggot
yeah, dying to human npcs and especially around their camp will usually get you enslaved, meaning you lose all your shit and sneak out

Or do what I do:
Attack with Bone weapon (doesn't matter which) until bleeding procs, then block or sprint away and come back in a few mins to loot the corpse.

sadly no i recommend you play a dating sim or an mmo.

>piercing shot
>horrow bow tag
>beast golem halbert
>feral strikes
the DoT king, im literally fucking melting everything, you can craft / buy all of this in emmekar lmao

I'm thinking of making a dagger and bow wielding character. What other weapon would be good in the other hand while I have a dagger?

dagger is fucking trash

Most of the people who actually care about talking about video games have given up at this point. It's been in a death spiral for a few years. Tortanic and GG really sunk this place.

dagger is broken if you use the skills right.

Anyone know where the teacher for the 1H Sword skill is?

Game does look pretty interesting, not sure if it's worth the money yet though, going to need to try out the "free demo" first.

My friend is just using melee. Would some sort of magic help if he took it up? Or where would good melee skills be found?

You need to adjust your clothing to suit the temperature, and in addition to eating food for the effects you now must also drink and eat to quench thirst and hunger, as well as sleep.

It's more complex, but honestly it really doesn't come off as any more of a hassle.

spell blade, hunter, thief

magic melee buffs, extreme bleed and bag rolling respectively

IGN's review in progress says they lost all their shit to a bug or a retarded game sequence so they plan on giving it a shitty score.

So they copied RDR2?

>lose all your shit and sneak out
Nigga your bag and gear is in their loot chest. Find it, take it back, and murder them all. Remember, you're not locked in there with them, they're locked in there with you.

good, casuals need to stay the fuck out so this becomes an underground gem like gothic did

>40+ hours of progress gone just like that
>hurr durr casual filter
fuck off

go suck more IGN dick, holy shit zoomer tranny, this place has fallen

Didn't play it so no idea. Each region has its own seasons, and the temperature will differ throughout the day and year, so in winter you need nice comfy clothes in the mountains and in summer in the desert you need to avoid heavy armor that will boil you like a lobster, unless you're roleplaying a knight on the march after Saladin for some reason.

While there IS a rare bug that will sometimes cause some items in your backpack to go missing, part of me thinks they actually just died to a bandit and can't figure out how to get out of the mines and get their stuff.

Either way a bad score from those retards is a badge of honor. They can eat a bag of dicks.

>tfw get baited to go down there

Why would you ever give a single fuck about IGN after God Hand?

Pirated it, glad I didn't waste too much time on this complete trash

Most of the 10/10 reviews on meta are slavs with broken english that have only voted on Outward

Attached: yikes.gif (600x366, 822K)

Oh right, forgot about temperature shit.
I'll be watching this one, hope the devs keep supporting it.

there is a hardcore base (of probably 10 shitposters) on Yea Forums who unironically think that that enderal mod is better than skyrim.

Attached: Outwards.png (636x989, 172K)

why would slavs vote for a canadian game

They said if it sells well enough they plan to add some more regions in a DLC, but so far they've been really active with the bug fixing at least.

Maybe were promised free keys or something.

eurojank

big accusation to make there user.

How can it not be better? It's built atop of skyrim.

>people still getting btfo by combat
>refuse to learn the games mechanics
>willfully ignore the tools the game gives you

The witcher

witcher?

>there's only so much you can in a combat system as clunky as this one
based

still ten times better than anything any american jew owned mega studio ever shat out, nigger

literally the witcher

yeah, you have to use your brain and prepare instead of just swinging like it's Skyrim. too much for normalfags

What the fuck does that have to do with witcher 1 and 2 not being eurojank? Why did you get so mad?

im using the prospector bag
Things add up, lets look
5 each (i believe) for cookingpot and alchemy set
3 for fishing spear
5 for mining pick
5 for tent

thats 23 weight right there out of the 85 total (pockets+bag)

62 for food and consumables and such, i suppose thats possibly doable. The main problem is stuff just builds up, i will attempt to be better at getting rid of stuff. The problem is some ingredients like beetles are very useful to have and not easy to get on demand so you mine and harvest every bush and end up with lots of iron and berries.

youre fucking racist, dumb as fuck too, figures

Pls reply

Attached: 1532105769991.jpg (718x718, 30K)

that's not what clunky means bro you want the part where he compares it to dark souls and mentions percentages

why are you so angry

Feels and plays like a 90ties RPG. A lot of text, fighting basic and delayed blocking. Feels clunky all in all. Pics look nice, gameplay is not.

i think outward is shit but i hope it makes a lot of money so outward 2 is better it has so much potential

I know and we're on the same page. I'm just saying that most people will be turned off by the fact that you can't just wing it when it comes to fights.
The game forces you to play differently. Most people want to be unstoppable Gods when the fight things because that's what is fun to them.
There's nothing wrong with that; I'm still playing the shit out of DMC5 right now for instance. But Outward isn't for everyone -- especially if you come from games that empower you and expect that.

>A lot of text
Lolwat. There's almost no fucking NPCs to talk to. There's fucking jackshit for text.

how would you design outward 2?

Attached: 1490902667259.gif (448x252, 1.99M)

Considering that the devs use reddit and those guys have been sucking this games dick nonstop and won't criticize it no matter what, I'd say the next game is gonna have all the same flaws as this one.

in the desert city in the slums

I'm retarded, I already learned that, but I thought it was a dagger skill for some reason. Thanks user.

>shitposters ruining every comfy thread
>"waaaaaa the combat looks bad"
>"survival mechanics? that's my trigger-word!"

Anyone use the Chakram yet? I am intrigued.

>game tells you the blood price for 4 months is 150 silver
>you can scavenge that much without leaving town for the first time
>go outside
>kill a perlbird that's right outside town
>it drops a mask that gives me +20% movement speed
When does this game get hard?

You need to ask yourself what you plan on doing before you leave. Take only what you need. If you plan on going out to farm for loot, take very little at all, and leave your cooking and alchemy sets behind, if you plan on raiding a dungeon, doing a quest, clearing a bandit camp or something that you think will involve combat that will require proper prep and equipment, go out loaded up with traps and potions.

For food, you need to focus on what you need it for. Jerky will last a long time and gives you a long lasting healing bonus, mushroom bars can refill burnt health, and there are medicinal teas that can return mana, burnt health, and burnt stamina, but if you plan on sleeping out there you don't need them either. Likewise, apart from the healing effect, you won't need to carry food, you can just pick some berries. Take only what you think you will need to heal.

Try this, put everything in your stash, and then start with your pockets. Fill them to the limit with the things you would consider absolutely needed in this situation:
>You just died and were dragged into a pitch black cave and are surrounded by monsters who are charging in at you at this very moment

I carry two torches (mostly for flame thrower), about 3 bandages, maybe 2 or 3 healing potions, 1 antidote and a water skin, and then fill the rest of the weight cap up with jerky.

Now look at your backpack and ask yourself what you will be doing between the moment you leave the town to the moment you get back. If you are going camping for a long time, or plan on going full nomad, you will want the pot and alchemy but otherwise leave them.

For dealing with loot here is a super duper baby mode trick. Any metal item that you can sell for 5 silver or less, break it down into scrap metal. Save up your scraps and then head over to Vandeval and go into the mines, then talk to the prisoner who you turn it into when you get enslaved. She will still buy scraps for 5 silver.

>tfw genocided the first area like 4 times and still don't have the mask
Fuck you luckshitter, I hope you explode.

When does magic get good? I wandered into the mountain and cleared it easy with a bow, I tried to use spark in combat and it appears to only be good for lighting a campfire.

it literally tells you to combine it with other spells. put a fire sigil down and use spark inside it.

>it took me 6 hours to clear that mountain
fuck you bownigger

Spark is only good when combined with other spells, like the Sigil of Fire. Outside of Rune Magic it seems you can combine a few other spells to get some good damaging spells, don't know which exactly tho. The wiki might know more.

>take rope ladder down

I lost more hp stepping on traps like an idiot, bow is maximum cheese in this game.

There is. I learned backstab in a prison mine from someone in exchange for a prison shank.

>no jank
I can tell from your screenshot that this game is concentrated jank.

I know, I have backstab. I was saying that I thought that the 1H Sword skill I learned it Levant was a dagger skill, because I'm retarded.

That mask is actually a really rare drop.

No, the real cheese is dot effects. Once you get a coralhorn bow you will be on your way, though the horror bow with Piercing Shot is true late game mastery.

Bro it looks like garbage. It looks like a 2000's game. What are you talking about.

does piercing shot with the horrow bow apply both poison and bleed or do you need to use the skill and then hit them with a normal shot?

was wondering about a certain place called the ancient face. if i join no faction could i join the red lady who offers her dagger?

>ask best waifu for storage
>she give adventurer backpack
>reeee

both effects but not on elemental enemys.

this. I've probably killed 30 chickens, no mask.

Not sure. Since the weapon itself deals poison I would assume you would deal bleeding from the skill and have a chance to deal poison from the weapon.

it's fun until up until you get all your skills and realize there's no end game aside from collecting artifacts and money.

Then it just gets extremely boring and leveling new characters gets way too easy.

>I lost more hp stepping on traps like an idiot
the worst is when you step on it AGAIN or a third time

Attached: rage.jpg (900x600, 57K)

if they introduced dungeons or raids, mmo style, I would buy the game, might aswell add mounts too, devs just wasted so much potential, this game couldve been unique as fuck

>tfw too stupid to figure out the lever puzzle so I plugged in a controller and just had the split screen character lever me up

Attached: friends.jpg (1280x720, 317K)

Magic is also a lot of fun until you realize that it's surprisingly lacking and there's a lot of runic combinations that could be used but for whatever reason they aren't, magical gear focuses on magical reduction rather than magical damage...When I first played the game it was a lot of fun, but the more I play it the more start realizing it just feels unfinished... so much missing potential..

Attached: 20190331051407_1.jpg (1920x1080, 404K)

Stealth also sucks and is arguably broken...not even the stealth skill you can take from the rogue tree does much to really help, it's like you smell like shit and the enemies are sniffing you out.

Attached: 20190401105603_1.jpg (1920x1080, 737K)

The entire game is like this. Some user described it as a "game made completely by a team of ideas guys" and that is the perfect description of it. There's all these cool and unique ideas, but they have absolutely zero thought put into them. The game seems really deep at first glance, but once you played it for a couple of hours, you see how shallow it really is.

Anyone remember that game Two World's for the Xbox? I really like that game, but it was jank as fuck. Does anyone know if I will like this game if I liked Two Worlds or the gothic games?

>if I will like this game if I liked Two Worlds or the gothic games?
yes

Desert boys represent.

Attached: Cribs.jpg (2560x1440, 1.11M)

Maybe. It's not really like either of those games, but if you actually somehow enjoyed the first Two Worlds, there's a good chance you'll like this game.

This is "What's your dream game, Yea Forums?" the game. Reality is disappointing. Will there be any content updates? They already have a nexus mod page so i'm willing to think there's hope for this game. Dear god i hope some faggot fixes it like they fixed skyrim

The worst part is that a fuck ton of the issues this game has could have easily been avoided, if they had just one guy who fucking thought any of this through. It's not like any of these mechanics are inherently shit and will never be good, they're just shit, because they only implemented the first idea that came to their mind. "Dude what if we made it so you have to unlock mana and have to sacrifice health and stamina for it" is what they thought and also where that thought stopped. In the end, the best way to play a mage is will very little mana, because nothing is balanced around this properly. The act of unlocking your mana is incredibly disappointing too, since you just kinda walk in there, kill the enemies or run past them and just talk to some crystal. No questline, no nothing.

Need help. I picked the sandnigger faction in Levant and wanna buy the house but I don't know how. Does this baron asshole to sell it?

Attached: 1548415696991.png (371x503, 374K)

tried gamepad but the keybinds fuck up

keyboard/mouse it is.

There should be someone in front of the house

I think you need to do some quests first.

Stupid bitch outside the palace says I need to wait a few days, can't do dungeond because I'm carrying a bunch of shit and need to empty. Like my marble greataxe for a melee playthrough.

You have to do a quest first
its the one about finding out who murdered the prince

"Let the wisdom of [insert generic god name here] and you will find your way.
>All you need to do is follow blue skulls
I wanted some trials! A test of character or some shit.

Does this time put a lot of time pressure on the player? As in "drink every five minutes". Is it a million different micromanaging things or can you actually explore and do shit without worring about all these things all the fucking time?

You barely notice it. And when an eat or drink prompt happens all you do is eat or drink once and you're set for 30 minutes. Safe zone rests refill your meters completely so camp around the butterflies which are safe zone areas.

No. You don't need to drink, eat or sleep all that often. There's a few time sensitive quests, but not many.

>Palestinian refugees
>Glorious holy templars
>And you go with the Israeli Jews
You deserve to have your money stolen from you, your ancestors and your descendants.

Who /JadeLich/ here? I regret not getting that internal lexicon skill because I can't use the staff.

Attached: 662px-Jade_lich_armor.jpg (662x375, 32K)

Drinking water gives a bonus to stam regen and different foods also give buffs. You also get auto fed for free if you sleep at an inn or your house. Believe me you will never get dehydrated or starve unless you wake up that way from being "defeated."

I wanted to be a great hero and after my inbred "clan" has retarded blood laws and tried to take my home I said fuck them and the religious guys are way too hoighty toity about muh Scourge all the time.

The interalizaed lexicon skill is shit though...the alternative is better because it just means more powerful runic spells.

I know, the +3 hyper armor and super heal has saved my ass many times. Rune sword is still the same except it glows. Don't see muxh difference in the trap and lightning ball, does it do more damage now?

Sorry user, i misread. That's understandable, but when the scourge overrun your desert shithole you'll wish you joined them. Although the blessing of the dragonbornhypersupermegagodoflight would make the scourge always target you.

The lightning ball does a ton of damage...and if you cast runic sword twice you get a great sword that deals decay damage which does an assload of damage too...the runic traps deal a fuck load more damage than all of those combined.

I kill lots of Scourge already with my magic x and lightning ball so I'm pretty okay.

Just beat the "game", went with the kingdom of levant.

That had to be the most tedious RPG I've ever played, at least 50% of my playtime was spent walking to places. Combat consisted of cheesing enemies with ranged attacks and occasionaly actually fighting them. Every scripted "boss" encounter besides the litch only triggered AFTER you talked to them, giving you plenty of time to set up pressure plate traps to completley avoid the fight. Quests were absolutely linear, stamina system made melee a chore, only having 8 skills active at a time, well 5 since you needed to put weapons and healing on quick slots, made fights samey the whole game. DoTs are by for the BEST way to do combat, less risk to you. Scenery was nice, music was god tier.

Anyone know what to do after you get the quest to "enjoy the peace you created"? is the game over with?

Spot on, user.

Should I give this game a try?

I want to not be a slave to running home. I want to simply camp through the game. Houses are for townie shits

Getting really fucking sick of the devs literally shilling this game on this board

Yeah. Rest. Not literally. Go be comfy somewhere. I think you can start NG+ if you got some tablet and a chest from the light-niggers tower but i don't know the specifics.

desu its kind of funny because the game is blatantly shit no matter how much they try to dress it up.

>music was god tier.
I find that most of the music is kinda meh and generic. The music in the swamp is fucking amazing tho.

If you and 9 other frogs made this shit you'd probably shill it too. It's only 1 thread unlike dmc or sekiro but it's still shilling.

>not rotating your saves
Absolutely casual beyond redemption. It's like this is your first jank.

is the wiki incomplete on weapons or are there really so few greataxes compared to other stuff?

Where 2 cop thorny cartilage?

its shit, just kill some beast golems in emmekar, much better weapon

Damn I wanted a new greatsword

Wiki's barely made. There's not even an entry on where to find Shark Cartilage which you need for a side quest in Levant.

for what, that shitty parry skill? Just get the halbert like a big boy and craft a 2h tsar sword later or whatever

>Coop only gives progress and gear for the host

Is this legit or not because it's gonna determine whether I buy it or not

Attached: FEiAgxh.gif (679x521, 15K)

Use a greataxe. Greatsword is shit and the combo doesn't even hit.

Are axes really better? I haven't gotten that far but the greatsword felt better but I'm still only using Fang shit, just wrapped up a full ammolite set too for the bonus damage. The only skills I've bought really are the passive health/stam one from the first town and the Enrage skill in this forest area.

Are they still working on this game? Because there's still so much shit needed like proper NPC interactions. They just walk aimlessly or stand in place around even during the night time. And all these buildings with no interiors. Why even make those buildings if you can't go inside?

Yes axes are much better because they can do four hits because the axe heavy does two hits with one butten press. And then there's an axe execution skill that does triple damage to anything you knock over. Best non-egendary greataxe is the marble axe and the best, maybe only legendary greataxe is the one you get from killing the green Hive Lord.

Holy shit that LoD is like I'm looking at Wurm Online.

You share loot ya dummi, it's only quest progress that is host only.

Greataxes are retarded. A simple Fang Greataxe will carry you for a long time.

No it wont. Fang greataxe can keep you going on shit like bandits during the first level but you have to upgrade to a savage or pallidium great axe at Emerkhar forest or the swamp.

>my ps4 copy wont come for another 3-4 days
I should have preordered

Maybe if you suck. I had zero issues with the axe even in the fucking desert. All you have to do to win any fight is to sidestep, kick, Heavy attack x2. This will stagger almost anything.

>at Emerkhar forest
so many fucking bandits

I honestly wish I chose the blood jew niggers at Emerkhar for my faction because I play mage and there's fuck all human remains or human enemies in the desert. So I can't get free mana refills or ghost minion shield.

Nice trip code loser

Attached: 1521171055646.jpg (568x726, 41K)

The Devs are going to keep working on this game right? Right? There's so much shit that needs to be improved/added like mounts or some kind of recall spell to make the game less tedious with backtracking.

Attached: 1554248509956.gif (404x347, 1.4M)

wow this comic
is really good___

Okay I think I fucked up
I went straight for the desert with miniscule stops in the forest because I figured I would be coming back, but I think I'm way underpowered. Should I have just stayed in the starting zone for longer?

god that looks hot

>Take spellblade runes to summon ethereal sword
>Take sage boons to give self ethereal damage buff
>Take ice spells to freeze targets
>slap their slow asses with bonus ethereal damage/bonus stance damage ethereal sword
>doesn't really synergize well

Nigga you're retarded.

I haven't played this game yet, just stumbled upon this thread but while this sounds interesting the clunky combat is still offputting. Monster Hunter is a great example of a game that rewards you greatly for preparation but also has great combat and I love it. Seems like this game might be more of an RPG with similarish approach.

theres a trainer in the forest zone that can give you a 40 point hp boost, very useful. As for desert land keep plundering dungeons, you'll get some nice armor.

If you need a good weapon, the steel sabers dropped by green bandit bois is good, and can be upgraded to give you poison element on it with an easy recipe the smith sells. If you like big sord kill the rapier robot guys in the walled garden.

did you play elex? now imagine if they decreased most of its good qualities like worldbuilding and design but added dark souls knockoff combat and basic survival mechanics that mostly solve themselves.
its not a very good game, its very cheap in how its made, way more so than other eurojank (elex is triple-a next to it, let alone ckd) and you understand that with first sword swing. still if your dick is getting hard to those type of games and you have nothing particularly good to play atm, you will play the shit out of it.

So it's doable? I don't have to restart?

>be in emkarh forest
>there are 6 bandits
>divide and conquer
>they were standing on 3 more bodies
>there are 2 more bandits
>two alpha deer two doe
>kill two bandits
>separate and kill both alpha
>hunting simulator 2001 the does
>have to chase one down with 2% health
>finally get a melee in
>loot and go back to loot doe 1
>an alpha and another doe are standing there
>kill the 3rd alpha

I was just going to run through to the city god dammit.

I got banned from refunded cause I do it too much. Fuck steam. Epic games is better.

yeah you're fine, get a pistol and learn the recipe for building bullets. If you want to do magic or bows go back to forest land and check out the trainers in berg

I'm too brainlet for this game. Just got in a confused death loop where I'd come back but have no idea where I am. The casual wagie life has taken me.
