Fights are decided in far fewer hits than most fighters. Damage is all over the place so you'll more have to lean on your character's tools and playing safe over labbing combos.

As someone who plays fighters SamSho is one of my least favorite games to play. The game is more about spacing to make moves safe, which is fine, but there are also characters that have Xbox heug hitboxes for normals or specials that make it so you can punish pokes no one else in the cast can. It just seems like a design oversight
