So they actually toned down and changed female characters' appearence a lot, introduced new irrelevant characters that no one asked for in place of older fan-favourites and also set up DLC moneygrabs for you to get those old, staple characters (because they know that whoever buys this game will want them as well). Not to mention all the capeshit characters and attires we are getting, making MK11 seem more and more like Injustice.
And the game's animation and mechanics are nothing too unusual outside of the fully premade fatalities.
