What would you have done differently?

What would you have done differently?

Attached: ITmFI6y.jpg (3024x4032, 1.01M)

upload it anonymously

resized that fucking image before making a thread with it

streamed myself breaking it in half

lol megapixels

>Phonepleb

Attached: 1534177538997.jpg (4000x2857, 310K)

sold it on the darkweb for a cool 10 million

Copy it, give it back to blizz, go to blizzcon, upload from blizzcon, get sued to shit but laugh my ass off all the way.

Uploaded it to as many sites as possible, then sell it to a gook for big money

>Would have done
Did this actually happen?

It's 1mb you third world faggot.

cum tribute

make a copy of the files for my personal enjoyment, rub the cd on my dick, and sell it on ebay

Archive it. Put it on sites because preservation is great. Not because you can use it for illegal stuff, but more of knowledge and education around the code and how the game runs.

Not to give back to Blizzard for plastic toys.

1:1 copy
cum on it
microwave
then upload once everyone is done crying and calling you a retard

How could you get away with uploading this? Tails on a Librebooted laptop using McDonalds wi-fi from several blocks away?

Make sure to use TOR while you do it and wrap your penis in tin foil

>being a third worlder

Make a bit-for-bit backup obviously? If Blizzard can't even properly keep track of it once I wouldn't trust them to do it again

Buy a smartphone without a number and upload from there, it's a better burner cellphone, buy it with cash obviously.

Image it before livestreaming myself sticking it into a paper shredder. Upload the image from the city library a week later.

Could just email it to the Will it blend guys, they don't know what the fuck it is and they'd upload the video to youtube

viral marketing

I don't understand why people were so upset over this. Who gives a shit about Starcraft at this point?

>make a copy
>give the original to blizzard
>upload the copy online anonymously

Sell it for profit.

I woulda dropboxxed that shit through like seven VPNs and then dropped the disc off at a museum or something

Did the redditfag even insert the CD into his PC at any point? What if it was just a CD full of dolphin porn planted by Blizzard employees?

put it up my ass and use it as a fart based assassination weapon

>made several copies
>record on video how I destroy the original disc for the lels
>recieve a lot of karma on reddit
>enjoy watching seething threads on Yea Forums
>upload it on the web 3 months later

Rip it, put in on ed2k, wait for a few downloads, stop sharing and leak the hash here.

Cringe. Starcraft is STILL played competitively to this day in Korea. Imagine if they could mod it and fix the pathfinding and rebalance things like nukes or reaver scarabs.

It's just a coincidence that the starcraft remaster came out shortly after this, don't forget.

lmao even in korea it's not that big anymore. who cares

back in the day i would have put dolphin porn on it and sold it on ebay

>ed2k
Now that's a name I haven't seen in a while.

Make 3 1:1 copies
The first you destroy on the internet just for the rage.
The second you send to blizzard for reward
The third you upload some months later

Would have simply just ripped it and uploaded it to Archive.org and several other sites. Keep my mouth shut about it and let it spread and get permeated across the internet. Simple at that.

I've dumped a few unreleased titles on the internet across the years. I do it because I appreciate the efforts of all the others that have done so before me and allows me to enjoy said games, music, movies, books, etc, etc.

put it in a microwave oven

Actual genius in the thread

Are there more than this one single disk? If yes, I'd make a copy, get the money by blizz, after a year or so I'd upload anonymously and say "Remember that retard who gave this back to Blizz? Merry christmas"

>dolphin porn on a finalized cd-r
zoom zoom

>Put dolphin porn
>Give it to Blizz

>anonymously
Except you'd still expose yourself because they remember you as "that retard who gave this back to Blizz"

>people believed that

How did you get access to multiple unreleased titles?
Also well done. I love seeing preservation attempts in the digital world.

I meant it more as "Remember the retard? I'm a different guy making things right" Don't worry, if I'm ever in this situation, I'll work on my speech before releasing it.

This is why you make a hundred copies and give them to random people.

A few were liberated from a guy that was hording them and refused to share (No, this isn't the thing with Layberanth 3 and Saint, but Saint is a cool dude). Turned out I had a few prototypes laying around in my NES collection, thought they were compatible till I dumped them and realized they were late betas, so uploaded those. Had some old C64 and DOS floppies from when I was a kid and bought from grocery stores and local computer shops that I never saw the games of online, uploaded those too.
Nothing amazing or that is a big deal truth be told, but its still out there now for anyone that is interested, and thats neat to me.

Pretty cool. Nice job.

A true hero of the people.

Sell it, then upload
