Frazier was known for his iron jaw and tenacity, not his punching power, though he wasn't lacking. That said, the way Tyson fought in his prime would have sent Ali packing. His tight combinations, head slipping, and the way he switched his lead foot when attacking would have caused a lot of issues for Ali in any theoretical match they would have.

I agree that both in their prime, Tyson would have probably won.
But Ali would have went the distance, and Tyson would remember that fight for the rest of his life. He wouldn't mop the floor with him, Ali won against foreman who was a fucking monster and punched as hard if not harder than Tyson. Tyson would win because he has a better balance of speed and power.

Because the way Foreman led his punches telegraphed them in a way that allowed Ali to exploit them easily. Tyson not only threw faster punches, but a better variety of them and in combinations. Foreman whooped ass because most people tried to block instead of just slipping him like Ali did.

Which is why I said Tyson would win, as he has the better balance of speed and power. But it would be by decision, Ali would go the distance with Tyson I assure you.
Not to mention that despite how telegraphed his punches were, A LOT of them still landed, Ali took the beating and protected his head, hitting Ali's head was no easy feat. Tyson would have likely also found this trouble.
Has Tyson ever fought a lighter weight dancer like Ali? Another aspect is the uniqueness of the fighter.

The ones that landed had a lot of their power dispersed by the positions Ali had Foreman and how he twisted his head when they did land. Ali v Foreman was more one-sided than you're acting like. It fucked Foreman up for a long, long time.

I wouldn't be able to tell you but either way it'd be one of Tyson's most grueling matches but one trip to the corner early-mid round would be death for Ali.

Because Foreman threw giant, slow, powerful punches. Tyson threw tight, fast, powerful combinations at odd angles that made such things incredibly hard to pull off. Tyson's double right hook is a great example of this.
