Almost every time the full image is not as enticing as what you imagine it to be. In fact I feel like looking at crops may be the better way to enjoy such imagery because it makes you actually use your brain and Imagination and fill in the blanks to however you want, rather than seeing the complete image...which you would probably just look at it for a few seconds and then close the tab of.
Personally I have found crops to be much more mentally stimulating and have more impact, and I remember them better, and have more enjoyable sessions with.

To add a bit extra to my post, it would be ridiculously easy to ban RMT for SE but they just don't care. I'll explain below.
Most RMTs are done through mail deliveries, they're extremely obvious as to even put "delivery" in the text box of the mail while sending gil. This alone isn't enough to ban someone of course but they do ban gil mules and if a gil mule is linked to an account that sends gold out, they could ban every account that accepts gold linked to that "sending" character, if they accept the gil that is. SE just doesn't care, period. They'll only ban you if someone reports you for RMT to maintain a facade that they do care, in the end all they care about is that they keep getting your subscription money.

FFXIV gets more and more cash shop items per patch.

Exact same with FFXIV, you have to fucking RENT storage space, compare it to Guild Wars 2 where you can permanently buy storage space and have an unlimited glamour log, unlimited glamour applies to WoW too.

Why do you have to compare it to the worst example? Guild Wars 2 lets you trade dyes and they're unlimited unlike XIV, pay for it once with gold and you get to use it an unlimited amount of times.

it was a legitimately fun game with a cool setting and some neat loot. Juggling enemies then melting them with a laser in midair was always so satisfying. Fuck denis dyack but damn they had something special with that game. I still hope to see it on the backwards compatible list for XB1 someday

I had the strangest dream about ShB Eden's mechanic.
Like, the floors was made of rectangles and they would move around to form it but the savage mechanic made it desconstruct itself and healers had to stay on one, they would fall down and come back up for some reason, then you had to stop some mechanics by staying on some buttons in what looked like a motherboard circuit.
The strangest part is how you had to sitdown and start singing a chant because the map would felldown in the water and turn into a submarine and if we stopped singing we would die of suffocation.
