Non meme answer, the BEST way to look unique in mmos and in general is to avoid ALL sparkle shit and wear normal/npc tier armor. I found myself paying more attention to people who dress like merlin the wizard than some glowing demi god.

Either have really fucking good taste in aesthetics so you would stand out even among the unique snowflakes or make yourself deliberately ugly. Not ugly as in blue-skinned yeti with ranbow afro hair / dark souls maxed out sliders ugly, but just generally not pretty. And I mean ugly, not boring
