I was too young when i played 1. I couldnt get past all the platforming. I have fonder memories of 2
That's good.
Which game do you like the most user?
I like 1 the most as well, by far. Plot had good pacing and wasn't off the rails, best level design, and everything was fresh and new. There was so much mystery. I played it completely blind, having read no previews, and it was one of the greatest gaming experiences I've had.
Yeah it was the same for me. One if the things I like is that Alice in Wonderland is (at least going by the difficulty rating) the first world you go to and you don't win. Sure you defeat the heartless, but Alice is gone. It hit me when I realized that I hadn't saved her, and has no idea where she had been taken.
Yeah one has a charm the others never could redo.
I still wonder how they convinced disney to give them their characters and worlds.
Didn't get to use a lot of Mickey, though I'd say his limited screen time made is appearance fucking amazing.
Eh. Combat feels clunky. Cutscenes are slow and cringy. I prefer 2
Ditto.
And fuck the reaction command.
The game has aged horribly but it still has the best plot and characters in the series, with good excuses to have Disney worlds that actually integrated themselves into the plot. I vastly prefer KH2 as a game, but even that game something felt off in terms of the story and characters
I thought the reaction commands were fine for things like reversal and the end, but a lot of bosses just had "Press triangle for damage" which I didn't like that much.
patrician taste
I loved the summons in the first game.
1 is the best because i formed all my opinions about it when i was 10 years old.
The whole series is shit and is only played by turbo weebs.
Kingdom Hearts 1 is the only one with true soul it is comfy kino, a little bit of that came back in Kingdom Hearts 3 because of the decision to focus more on the Disney worlds.
I found KH2 the most fun and the whole end game with The World that Never Was was pretty great.
The first few hours of KH1 and exploring Traverse Town is magical though.
None of the other games have this feel something was lost when the character grow up, the child like innocence and magical feeling is gone
kh got worse as the characters got older
(they also got less sexy)
good thing im a turbo weeb
