third game rapidly departed from the series in tone and storytelling. as such it ruined the series. still one of my favorite adventure devs together with daedelic but pendulo really dropped the ball with this one. i would have wanted a satisfying conclusion in the third instead of what we got. the next big thing was fantastic and yesterday was also pretty fun. cant wait to play blacksad gives me telltale vibes kinda but not in a bad way.

The dream cast version got lots of praise and the PS2 version is even better with a nice stylized look but the series never got anywhere. It was destined for so much more.

nah second game is cool its the third that is a departure.
a fair warning though the first is pretty old and doesnt have any resolution options.
id say all 3 are worth playing but the third is fucked.
the first starts out serious but goes to monkey island levels of sillyness and the second continues the trend. the third inversts everything that made the first two good from a story and tone perspective.
