Its at the end of its life where cfw and homebrew has expanded greatly. Its a device you fit in your pocket that plays 3ds, ds, gba, gb/color, snes, nes, genesis, pc engine/turbografx, and some arcade games on the go

Because people still want to own a console with ACTUAL specs and games. The Switch fails at delivering current gen specs and is almost always the weakest of the 4 main platforms with multiplats. The XBone is doing well in N. America as expected, poorly in Yurop, and is a fucking joke in Japan. And PC's physical market is virtually nonexistent or is laden with piracy. Not to mention PC is weak in Japan because that market is either PS4 or smartphone gacha trash territory.

Basically, PS4 is doing strong as fuck because it literally has no competition in any region other than America.

People have less PCs then ever before.

And if you want a multiplat box, you may as well get PS4.
