I keep seeing this everywhere but most devs don't since it's a publisher's deal. If anything there is no difference for devs unless they are a self-publishing team. And since EGS doesn't want "crappy games" then most indie devs wont even have a spot on the store.
Someone should find a way to quantify "exposure", and then write notes paying people in that for honorary purposes instead of money.
