Tip for RG usage that makes it much more easier:
When you are not confident in blocking something, just do jump+block. It is guaranteed to either royal block or dodge it because of the jump immunity frames.
This was a lot more useful in DMC3 where the jumping i-frames were a lot. Same thing with Royal Release. Specially useful against vertical attacks
It kinda does make you a pleb though. Standing blocking is more stylish

I've been testing it and seems like each individual head can be stunned resulting in him not being able to use that head for a while, if you stun all of the heads then he falls down and you can take off a large chunk of his health with balrog.
I'm not sure how stunning the individual heads actually works though it seems to be much easier to stun the ice head than the others, it seems easiest to stun them with the punches from balrog but it's not like balrog punches do much damage so I'm not sure what actually causes them to get stunned

Can Nero as he is now carry future Devil May Cry games? It's not just about his combat kit, as a character too. He is a fun dude, but besides that he lives an ordinary life. They're gonna have to move away from Dante eventually, Nero too. We might as well just embrace it and hope they don't fuck it up. Nobody liked Nero at first after all.
That being said, they could probably pull off a Sparda or Vergil game, maybe squeeze one more out of Nero. But I don't see what else they could do with Dante, and I don't want them keeping him around out of pure obligation. I he was a bit off in 5 anyway, so maybe it would be for the best.
Of course we may not even get a DMC6, at least not one under Itsuno, so who knows.

The most obvious game changer is taking Kyrie out of the equation and seeing how he'd handle that now that he's relatively more mature.
The other path I can see is having him directly mentor a follow up since he's got experience as a dad caring for the orphans, and I don't think present mentorship is a thing the series has done yet. Dante and Nero were apparently not super close beforehand.
