I don't consider myself pro at the game at all, but 99% of the time someone cries about a character they suck hard at the game and accusing tge characters that I play is the most obvious cope in the world. Ganondorf is easy to shit on because pf le epic disrespect meme and tye fact that he's easy to learn and hard to deal with online because of the lag, but nobody can really shit on Ken because nobody plays him and nobody knows how to play him. Also because to git gud with Ken, you have to commit hard to everything that you do and he's fucked in the online lag. Plus swordies and their 4 miles long hitboxes are a terrible match for Ken and his matchbox size hitboxes.

The game may have some bullshit tiers, it's true that top tiets are easy to abuse with and it's true that the input buffering, input lag and overall shitty online service provided by jewtendo makes it tempting to rely on blaming the game for losing, but, in the end, if you're good enough, you can overcome almost any outcome. Also losing repeatedly to someone is no big deal to me as long as the goal is to improve. honestly, I don't think I could in a way that'd make anybody happy and actually remain realistic. You can't justify putting in supporting characters from a game while leaving their protagonist out so that leaves a lot of FE games in awkward places for potential reps. It's also very difficult to justify any particular reps over others when trying to appease to broad familiarity.

Doesn't Roy have some attacks and abilities from his game that would make him unique from Marth if they reworked him? Robin definitely makes sense as a rep. Corrin's spot could be a rotating "shill pick" rep that changes with the newest game (so Byleth for the newest one for example). And I feel that Hector got enough screentime to warrant him in over Eliwood and Lyn.

Just having screentime doesn't feel like quite enough to make someone take priority over a main character in my opinion, and hector's claim to main character fame is more or less a glorified New Game Plus. You wouldn't get Julius Belmont before Soma for instance, so I feel like hector can only get in if Eliwood's already in, but he'd also have to be a clone as a simple extra like how Lucina got in as an extra with Robin.

I'm also trying to avoid rotating picks entirely because we're currently at EVERYONE IS hERE which makes that shit an extremely moot point.
