"She" clearly had male features in that picture, especially the face format. Besides, Japan draws their females extremely feminine, and TWEWY made no exception to this. Characters with mixed female/male traits are almost always male.

This is not real life where people can be born ugly and there's nothing they can do other than surgery, it's a game where each character is drawn by someone with full control over their appearance, there is no reason to make waifus ugly. Or Shiki, who is written to be an average girl, to be vastly below average.
With that said she looks fine and that picture I previously replied to was just exceptionally bad.

Really? Having a protagonist that isn't a moralfag weakling was very refreshing. His dynamic of ignoring Shiki was fun. He actually went downhill for me after Week 1, when he would give long speeches about "feelings" and "understanding others", but that was part of his character growth.
