Devs forgot to put any sort of challenging endgame in their game and pretended for years that it doesn't need one. Just recently they're attempting to cobble up together something that would fit that role with mixed results.

Well you can get to the end of the game without paying a single dollar. How far you want to go with the game after that is up to the individual, but even then still don't need to pay any money to get stuff.

There is no joke. Warframe has no endgame and until they released the roadmap no one had any idea where this game was going. It's latest open world area flopped hard.

Raids they had were too buggy so they removed them. Warframes are a mixed bag of semi-functional abilities and poor design choices with some of them trivializing everything. There's "difficulty" in the sense that you can fight against the same mobs until the scaling algorithm scales their armor rating closer and closer to 99% or you just get one shot through all your damage reduction, shields and even stuff made to keep you from getting one shot. All of that without any worthwhile reward for doing it and it takes 4 hours on the same map to even begin to reach that point.

Most new modes they add have limited rewards, you play them until you get the mod you want then you don't touch it again because there's no point. The economy is in the shitter and they had to introduce a battle pass to help keep newbies from getting scammed from unironic discord jews that attempt to control the market because your progression is directly tied to their freemium currency that you either purchase or trade valuable items with other players but nothing is worth anything anymore. Nothing in this game is about "space ninjas", it's about super powered karate bugmen(not the fun kind) shooting AoE weapons and dying because they couldn't see a pixel and know it was actually an enemies fucking nuke-mine, unless you play Inaros then you don't die to anything relevant but you only have 1 and a half working abilities. Every addition for challenging content is just one step further to remove power from the player despite the fact they're strictly selling a power fantasy. There's no mechanical complexity to enemies, no need to worry about anything unless it has a god damn nullifier bubble on it

I quit last year after 2k+ hours.
There's no endgame. They haven't added back raids. Eidolons can be cheesed.

DE is on a content diarrhea and will never fix the core issues before covering it up with vain bullshit.
