You could also form a real opinion of not having to 'rely' on the information he chooses to bring out on a video. Just because you watched a video of content creator, doesen't make you see the whole truth.

Relaying news objetively without comment is pretty niche, especially in video game "journalism" which is filled with the rejects of an already shitty profession.

They do just do that, but theres a demand for it.
It's easily digestible news.
You can easily just go an search up whatever topic you want, and find a more detailed explanation, but some people don't browse chinese cartoon forums all day every day and would prefer a 10 minute video popping up in their feed every day telling them whats happened instead.
