I feel so much better after quitting Dragon Ball Legends.
I was obsessed with it, I played it for a couple of hours every day for about 250 days straight since the game launched. I had most of the characters but there were always a few really good one's I was never able to get.

The last straw was when I wasn't able to get Broly. I no longer even had a chance to compete online anymore since he broke any sense of balancing in the game and was capable of soloing an entire team by himself, regardless of type advantage/disadvantage.

It could have been worse though. I was strictly F2P only and didn't spent any money. I could only imagine how much worse it would have been if I was financially invested.

So many people are such fools with their money, it's very sad.

There's no difference. Technically, paying for gachashit does in some minute way actually contribute to more "content", but that "content" is in the form of weekly events designed to try and milk more money out of stupid whales, and provides maybe 2 lines of dialogue for fans.

The only saving grace is that gachashit is still considered a seperate industry. Lootboxes are something invading every regular western game, while gachashit is basically phone-only, and real games are still being made.

I'm not saying it's a good idea to bet 10 million bucks on a 48% chance to almost double your money. It's a terrible idea, but it is theoretically possible to make money from a casino if you gamble for a short enough period of time.
