Mario Kart has become pretty damn soulless as well. They really made 8 not fun whatsoever to play. You get like 70% less items from blocks when you're in first place, which is gay as fuck and collecting coins boosts your speed, adding variables into who wins based on who had more coins instead of everyone being on a level playing field with the same speed. Most of the tracks are so try hard "look guys, we're Nintendo, this is what we can do" it's pretty annoying. I'd rather just have the N64 style tracks where the environments changed and had a sprinkle of nintendo vidya here and there, but it wasn't a disney land fun house.
Maybe I'm just getting old. The Kart customization is worthless as well, literally bloatware. Strip that retarded shit out if I'm the end, it makes zero difference anyways except you can turn better. Nigger, just make all the fucking karts turn better and get rid of that garbage.
