The vast majority of legendary designs are fairly poor.
For every Rayquaza, Solgaleo or Entei there's some shit like Suicune, Reshiram or Giratina that looks like a 5 year old drew it. Look at Suicune what are those fucking tendrils on its body for? Why do its legs end in nubs?

It seems the genius of their designs has went over the heads of some people, so allow me to educate you. The manes on the back of the beasts are made to resemble something that they represent. Raikou's mane is a thundercloud. Entei's mane is volcanic smoke, which becomes clearer as it flows in the wend. And Suicune's mane resembles aurora borealis. These are truly the most creative and well executed design concepts in the history of fictional creatures.
So proud and noble the beasts may seem, yet they can just as well be fierce and imposing as they can seem graceful. So regal in their posture and manner, yet terrifying and awe-inspiring all the same. In other words, like a real lion but better.

Entei's excellent, and Raikou would be perfect with a less silly tail, but Suicune's rather dumb looking, especially how the tails(?) look like two reams of toilet paper escaping from its bum when seen in 3D.
