Anime was basically Dante being depressed as fuck brothers dead (he though for good). His clone mother actually gets pissed and decides to be a lesbo with lady for a while, fights are not meaningful anymore. He tries to act like wahoo pizza crazy man sometimes but its just an act
The intro of DMC4 Dante was not acting like himself shows up and shoots sanctus nothing fancy no catch phrases. Then Nero drop kicks him finally things are getting crazy and maybe just maybe this kid could be the family he desperately misses
