The only thing I'm remotely looking forward to related to Fallout is Fallout 4 New Vegas IF that comes out in the distant future.
>800+ mods
enbs for gamebyro always look fucking terrible
okay...but what actually is it? skyrim ultimate basically made it a totally new game that was actually good. what are the gameplay changes?
how much can you change the gameplay in a game with guns, honestly
Seems like a lot of QoL tweaks and improvements to things like combat and graphics, like it's just trying to make a better overall experience i guess.
>looking through modlist
>get to quests part
>he recommends Honest Hearts Reborn
>he says "Absolutely amazing quest mod which extends the Honest Hearts DLC and feels like a native part of a game."
holy shit, into the fucking trash. This mod is cancer, shit voice acting, shit story, shit characters, smaller map, and it's unfinished so you can't actually finish some of the quests because they bug out with no fix. DO NOT install this. It has a decent premise but the payoff is literally that the big Legion bad guy is angry at Joshua because he was literally gay for him (no not joking) and joshua didnt like him back. That's fucking it
this
cant wait to listen to a 14 year old try to sound like dornan like 60% of new vegas mods
Why do people remake games from the previous generation? Why not wait at least a couple generations? This is barely an improvement from the original, certainly not worth the ridiculous amount of time and effort it requires.
I'm actually tempted to try it.
I fucking hate custom voice acting, especially when you can hear the microphone static when they're talking. There's even a pretty cool Enclave mod for FNV that literally has a cringy Dornan imitation.
Looks like complete shit.
>In my humble opinion, PN is an absolutely essential gameplay mod for NV. It not only balances most of main gameplay aspects, but also add new gameplay features, while keeping them immersive and those features are mostly just for your game comfort.
into
the
trash

I've never understood the issue people have with Project Nevada. What is your problem with it?
what the fuck is modders' obsession with ugly ass ENBs with too much DOF and oversaturated colors?
I actually use it. Because it has a few core features that are good. But to say it is "absolutely necessary and the best balancing mod" etc etc is retarded. It has a ton of fucking bloat that is useless and unimmersive, and other mods do what it does but better and with less hassle. It's simply not as good as people say and is usually a piece of shit aside from a couple good functions, like being able to tweak some of the balancing options ingame.
oh man that will be really cool when it comes out in 20 years
I agree that it both has great features and some pretty bad ones, but I'd say that it's still overall good mod, especially for the average brain-dead user.
Should I install ALL mods from this list?
>A: You can do this in theory ofc - but you should never do this. Remember that this is not a mod pack - it's a mod list, with description and advices. You should understand that more not always equals better :) Also, the bigger mod list you will have, the more important you'll need to be in terms of compatibility moments. If you want to make your own dream mod list - go through the guide and pick the mods you really like, don't simply install all of them. If you want to save time - pre-made modules are for you to choose from - there you don't need to worry about compatibility as everything is already picked for you and you only need to mimic the mod list and follow additional instructions if they are present. You are the lord of your own game, so even while U.L.T.I.M.A.T.E. provides a definitive list of mods and advices about them, you still need to read mod pages ;)
Fuck, I thought it was a mod pack. This is no different from using the lists on /fog/, which I've already wasted too much of my life on.
>its a trailer for a mod list
ohhh maaannn i loooveeee hummaaannniiiitttyyy
right, but for a mod guide that is saying it is the ultimate way to play new vegas, starting off the gameplay part of the guide by saying PN is the best option rather than cobbling together some of the smaller but better mods together is silly, since that is the point of an in depth mod guide. He should have recommended JSU with a small amount of PN on top. Instead he says go with one or the other
Fallout fucking sucks.
>shitty replacement for Joshua
that's really all you needed to say user, without Josh boy it's all petty tribal wars and who gives a fuck about that shit?
it hides the LOD
>800+ mods
FUCK YEAH! I CAN'T WAY TO PLA-PLA-PLA-PLA-PLA-PLA-PLA-PLA-PLA-PLA-PLA...
>tfw game won't even start anymore after I tweaked some .ini files to get DarnUI to work
yeah I'm thinking I'll pass on this ""800+ mod"" experience
>800+
it's funny because you'll just fine with around 50
Game crashes even without mods kek
A ton? Shooting in fallout 4 feels nothing like shooting in New Vegas.
I honestly don't even know what you need all those mods for. Unless you're installing a new .esp to retexture every single boulder in the Mojave, I have absolutely no clue
