Season 3 or 4 was the one that became full-on Computer animation as opposed to the early 2000's blending of the old and new techniques. Yeah i like that too, Anubis being more corporate and focused on something as weird as wandering mummies is a unique take on having characters relevant to Irwin.

Well yeah because our generation is making the cartoons now. We only got the era we had in the 90s and early 00s because people like Stephan Spielberg and studios like Hannah-Barbera realized cartoons needed a Renaissance of sorts. So then suddenly we have Animaniacs, Swat Kats, What-a-Cartoon which jump started several series on its own, SpongeBob, the number of Disney shows based off their films (keep in mind whether or not you like any of these is completely subjective). Right now we're back in the politically correct phase, difference is this seems to be going on stronger than the last one and that's mostly due to the life lessons now being hidden behind wacky cartoon hijinks or shoddy action shows. Obviously there's exception to the rule as with every era, but as a whole, this is where we are right now.

00s into very early 2011s had plenty of top-quality shit, it was just that there were a slightly greater amount of duds each year. Then Adventure Time came and changed the landscape for the worse (even if the early seasons of it were solid).

Samurai Jack, Megas XLR, Xiaolin Showdown, Jackie Chan Adventures, Avatar TLA, Batman tBatB, Genndy Clone Wars, Kim Possible, OG Ben 10, Spectacular Spider-Man, Chowder, and Flapjack stand out to me on that image alone. I'd put them in the same breath as the classics of the mid-late 90s. Total Drama Island was a guilty pleasure but I get if you think it's shit. Every single subsequent season was worse than it until the spinoff based on The Amazing Race instead of Survivor.

Yeah the new Cartoon Planet kind of sucked. Doesn't help there was no Space Ghost which meant Zorak couldn't get his ass blasted. There's always one skit I'll never forget from the original Cartoon Planet, whenever Brak opened his mouth Space Ghost would open fire on Zorak with no hesitation. As a result the former never shut up so the latter kept eating laser blasts for a good minute or two.
