ITT: Underrated Games

It's a weird combination of Final Fantasy and Indiana Jones, but it's pretty fun.

The post game dungeon was a big jump in difficulty.

It's mediocre.
Juka and the Monophonic Menace is pretty based.

I remember hearing this was originally a Saturn game that got shelved but that's probably bullshit. It didn't look that bad, is it worth a playthrough?

I remember the encounter rate being insane

It's a Final Fantasy clone that plays, looks and sounds like the DS remakes of FF3 and FF4, same developer in fact.
Yes.

This was my favorite DS game. No one else gives a fuck about it though.

Good armor

Which one? Overlord was hard, but Mother Stella was just an HP sponge.

very overrated game, doesn't even have the excuse of the ds having no gaems since it was already getting good stuff before nostalgia came out

Holy shit I remember playing this game.
I thought it was pretty okay, weird that apparently no one has played it.

any other ds gems?

Rocket Slime.
That game was fucking amazing.

How can it be overrated if no one talks about it?

Here's a badass underrated gem

I fucking love Rocket Slime.

read the lets play, the story was kinda cool.

Drone Tactics is a neat SRPG about robot bugs. It's surprisingly challenging at times, too.

I ended up trying it after someone recommended it here like 4 years ago, it was ok

I really liked the chibi artstyle of the characters
Shame the pre-mission sidequest system was a huge clusterfuck

wins for soundtrack alone.

This was pretty good. Anybody know of any more games where the person playing the game is an active participant in the story?

It's fucking buggy as shit.
Could never complete the game because of that

I gave it a shot but it was so average. Also there are so many other better retro-style rpg and remakes of older rpg at DS.

Nostalgia is the only reason anyone cares about either of those franchises.

Oneshot does it

already did that one
