Which one was the best and why

all of them sucked

all shit

oh shit

Arena is super dated
Daggerfall was neato but super dated
Morrowind is pure mafic but is getting dated and memed above its true quality.
Oblivion was fun but the scalling is dildos.
Skyrim is solid but still stings of broken promises.

Every iteration has improved on the prior.
You may not like it but it is the truth.

>Don't mind me, just "pirating" this gold right here

>outdated

Modded skyrim is objectively the best.

ESO

Attached: 1553654426069.jpg (500x369, 9K)

Only canon games are to be discussed.

A fucking shame then that ESO is confirmed canon. I tried playing that game multiple times, but the locked classes just isn't for me.

Based.

spoiler]I really like Skyrim[/spoiler]

For me, It's Blades

Based and Darienpilled

ESO is more canon than Oblivion/Skyrim, deal with it.
Based.

How is it?

I will give ESO credit in that they are not shy about searing the sheep that play that game.

>hey guys we're gonna make a classic dungeon crawling elder scrolls game!
>no skills or stats tho
>also it's just a clicking game
im not mad, just a little sad

Found the C0DAfag.

ESO is shit, but nothing we can do about it at this point, its canon.

Gameplay is ok, dungeons are a bit linear with a couple of side rooms to find "hidden" treasure, it would be fun as a "couple of dungeons a day" type of game, but the monetization completely destroys everything, with lootboxes costing upwards of 20 bucks and the ability to just pretty much buy weapons, keep in mind this game is supposed to have an pvp arena, so its 1000% p2w

Attached: Not canon.png (592x771, 99K)

Skyrim is dated as well. Next TES will not have retro mechanics like limited mana or health bar.

I love me some dungeon crawl. But PVP+microtransactions=China strong.

decent in 15 mins bursts. Microtransactions are horrible. Everything is timegated, from brewing potions to upgrading armor. I don't really know if I recommend it but the dungeon can be alright for a mobile game in short bursts

The monetization is pure garbage. The gameplay is okay for a mobile game, but the chest timers and dearth of good loot outside of chests just kills the game for me.

"But you were once man! Aye! And as man, you said, "Let me show you the power of Talos Stormcrown, born of the North, where my breath is long winter. I breathe now, in royalty, and reshape this land which is mine. I do this for you, Red Legions, for I love you."

>Dude its just a translation error lol

Hopefully this bump can save this thread I want to talk about blades

Ask and I shall answer

what about it? I'm surprisingly enjoying it in short sessions but they really need to tone down the microtransactions and timers. 3 hours for a silver chest is too much, especially when you can only open 1 at a time

Morrowind for sure. Never heard of the two on the left and never even played the two on the right.

Skyrim with mods.
Morrowind if you were somehow forced to not use mods.

Daggerfall, most Morrowind kiddies haven't even played Morrowind they npc hivemind trying to fit in. What would really be great is if they added elements from Skyrim's combat into Daggerfall and for the most part left everything else the same.

Which mods fix Skyrim? Because I sure as all hell haven't seen any mods that fixes the entire game.

daggerfall, because of vanilla tits and ass

Morrowind and oblivion are good games, skyrim is an okay game but a great porn simulator

Dated games: Oblivion, Skyrim, Arena, Fallout 3 and 4
Games that will never age: Daggerfall, Morrowind, New Vegas

Is there a list on which dungeons to avoid in Daggerfall? Some of them can have quest objectives spawn in accessible areas.

>the best
It really depends on what you're after in a game. For a true fantasy life simulator, Daggerfall is the best. For a role-playing game with good atmosphere and writing to pull you in, Morrowind is the best. If you want an action-oriented adventure game with some roleplaying elements still intact, Oblivion is the best. For a more action/adventure-oriented game with little emphasis on roleplaying, Skyrim is the best.

Arena is really the only game that has been improved upon in every way by later entries. Every other entry still has something the rest haven't topped.

>Skyrim is solid
big gay

>ESO is more canon than Oblivion/Skyrim, deal with it.

how can you say Fallout 3 is dated but not New Vegas? I get liking New Vegas more, as do I, but that makes no senze

Fallout 3 does feel dated though. Maybe because it feels more desolate and not in the good way.

>Custom quest fixes shitty writing
>Ordinator fixes shitty perks
>Wildcat+attack commitment+archery overhaul+dual block fixes shitty combat
>Apocalypse spells fixes shitty spells
>Morroloot fixes loot
Probably missing a bunch of gameplay mods and all the graphics mods

Probably because of lack of ads

For me, it´s Daggerfall and Morrowind.

Dagger/Morro > Battlespire > Skyrim > Oblivion > Arena > Redguard

I never played ESO, legends or the old mobile phone games, I want to play Blades but I am waiting for PC version.

Attached: KinoRPGs.png (944x599, 1.58M)

Battlespire? Really?

Blades is gonna seem even shittier on PC. It's only excuse is it's a mobile game

>Blades is also coming to pc and consoles
Aah fuck, I forgot about that, yeah no. Its a shit mobile game, I wouldn't touch the PC version if they paid me to do it.
I hold on to at least some hope that Zenimax will remove at least some of the wait timers on the game, making it go from garbage to playable shit

I started Enderal the other day, it's funny how much more immersive a game can be when the devs actually put the minimum amount of effort in to make the city look lively

>New Vegas
NV is horrible to play even with tons of mods

Unpopular opinion, but I think oblivion has the best soundtrack and atmosphere, and while that may sound like a weaker reason to put it at the top despite bad dungeons and convoluted leveling system, those two are the biggest reasons I'd want to go back to a game.

>lootboxes 20 bucks
>ability to just pretty much buy weapons
literally none of that is true
Why you guys gotta lie about shit games being shit? lmao you don't even need to lie about how much of rip off that game is either.

Attached: 1486771071100.gif (200x150, 436K)

Im feeling the urge to replay Oblivion is there a list of recommended mods?

>ESO is shit, but nothing we can do about it at this point, its canon.

Even Bethesda is just going to fucking ignore it, and only a retard would think otherwise.

back to pol

A pack of 2500 gems is 19.99 and they sell a lootbox for 2500 gems, hence a 20 dollar lootbox

rent free

Attached: 21757-full.png (665x374, 181K)

only played 3-5

hard to pick a favorite overall, but it's obviously either 3 or 5

And when you reach lvl 5 or 7 you get "offered" the chance to buy an artifact, which as far as I know right now its the Bloodthirst, which a weapon and costs 1000 gems, around 10 bucks. Both the lootboxes and weapons-for-sale statements are true.

I don't think it was an issue of effort, I think maybe Skyrim was too ambitious.
They made Skyrim huge. At the time, it was the biggest RPG/adventure game to be released, and still might be if you count the underground ruins, which basically double the size of the map. I feel like they focused too much on other stuff instead of making towns bigger than a micro penis that actually felt alive

I find it funny that a simple mod makes NPCs feel more lively than originally. I also use a mod for the roads to be more busy, which also makes more people visit town.

based reigen poster

I just played the free weekend user. There are tons of ways to prove they nickel and dime you like it's a f2p game. That's why I don't understand why you'd lie when there is so many truthful criticisms to make.

Attached: crates.png (398x281, 209K)

Jesus fuck user, we were talking about Blades, not ESO. Fucking read before saying shit.
ESO monetization is garbage too.

My bad. All the ESO stuff in your post threw me off.
It's been a long day.

Attached: TES.jpg (2050x750, 248K)

Oblivion because I grew up with it. I also think TES looks best when it's emulating LOTR and not stupid fucking Nordic GoT bullshit. Morrowind's setting is god tier though.

im betting the guy who made this never actually played arena

>old game good new game bad

Arena is an autistic dungeon crawler

and the dungeons are mostly shit too, i mean the main quest ones.

>TES is good when it's a generic fantasy world, especially in a province supposed to be far from that
Kys

>"I made The Elder Scrolls: Blades™ because I wanted to revive the feeling of exploration from The Elder Scrolls: Arena™ and The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall™! I hope you're all enjoying my new game, The Elder Scrolls: Blades™! And remember to buy Gems to enhance your gameplay experience!"

Attached: A Gorgeous Man.jpg (1920x1080, 76K)

Skyrim is the generic fantasy world though

Daggerfall

It is but not totally unlike Oblivion

Oh no, not the enemies! I hate those guys!
