Can an American explain to me the appeal of a car race where you can only turn left?
>what is passing
>what is pitting
>what is bump and run
don't try to talk shit when you haven't watched any actual NASCAR or stock car
The track is banked so they can go a lot faster (200mph average at Talladega). There are lots of cars on the track at once and they're very close together.
Unfortunately this means any loss of traction results in almost certain doom. Personally I think Nascar needs to evolve like F1 did, implement DRS or AWD, something that will make real life more the video game.
i'm not american and i think nascar is cool. it's possibly the closest form of racing there is
Reminder that Dirt to Daytona is the best Nascar game
The crashes ofcourse
ironically it's opposite. you almost never turn left, you turn right all the time, track and cars are designed like this and they slowly lean left all the time
the appeal is having 30+ cars going 200mph next to each other
other racing series usuall have several 'groups' of cars separated by few seconds. nascar is pretty much all packed up
>not Thunder 2004
I remember ea game about nascar I played on ps1 back in 2002. It legit had 500 lap races
most have the option to choose race percentage so you can run 500 lap races if you want
i'm a bong and I'd watch Nascar over Formula Snore any fucking day. Now F1 is the dullest shit on the planet
You heard of the LeMan's series?
24 hour long multi-class races, more cars on track then Nascar.
Skip ahead through this video and you can see the sun go down then back up.

>le mans
not stock car
nice hillbilly thread
>he watches pavement races
Dirt Chad passing through.
nice truck of peace, europoor
>modern """"stock car"""" races
Show me a stock car race with bone-stock cars you can by straight from the dealership.
WRC cars are more stock then Nascars.
Why do they even bother?
>endless sliding about is superior to superspeedways
who is actually stupid enough to think this
Forgot my image.
nascar usues all same vehicles, they are now literally same with just changed painting and logos, every other series, like le mans, formula ec are more engineering competition than drivers
Fucking this, rally is where the actual skill is
>the autism chariot cowers in the face of le reddit mobile
>dirt rally

NASCAR used to be great, it had stock cars, not go-karts with shells. It was a mad sprint to the finish. Now each race has stages where drivers get points during the race and it has playoffs. A fucking motorsport has playoffs. NASCAR sucks utter dick.
blame Brian France, he needs to get fucked
Only good Nascar game was Rumble.
Destruction Derby 2, it had stock cars and an engine sound still not surpassed in vidya
Tell me that it crashed on first turn?
>God Tier
Nascar Racing 2003
>High Tier
Dirt to Daytona, Rumble, Thunder 04/05
>Mid Tier
Most of the other Thunders and heats
>Low Tier
Modern Heat
>Shit tier
EA NASCAR (When they dropped the thunder name), Euthechnyx NASCAR the Game
finished okay I think, even led for about fifteen laps
Hey the game about those cars was really cool
wut about NASCAR Racing season 2003? That game some of the best crash physics I've ever seen in a racing game
wtf?
get this hillbilly shit out of here
I had Nascar Thunder 2003 for some reason as a kid. Only thing I remember doing the game was turning off flags and driving the track backwards to cause a massive wreck, some kind of challenge mode where you had to do things like avoiding every car in a massive wreck and making fucking ugly cars.
Also, the game introduced me to (Hed) Pe and was the first time I heard Magic Carpet Ride. Good times.
