>Flying feels more natural than I expected. It’s simple: You hold the Trigger button on both PlayStation Move controllers and position them opposite to the direction you want to fly. I picked up on it almost instantly. >A quick double-tap of the Trigger button prompts a high-speed “dash” that boosts your flying speed considerably – helpful, say, for dodging incoming enemy fire. >Shooting Iron Man’s iconic Repulsors is similarly intuitive. Simply aim one or both PS Move controllers and press the Move button with your wrists pointing upward. With a little practice, you’ll be flying and shooting like Iron Man. >If you need some extra practice, there’s a well-thought-out tutorial set outside Tony Stark’s Malibu Mansion that shows you the ropes: hovering, flying, Repulsor blasts, and more. VR pros are free to skip it, though. >Though I didn’t get a chance to try it, the final version of the game is said to allow players to customize Iron Man’s suit and upgrade its abilities in Tony Stark’s garage
>Thankfully they absolutely nailed the sensation of flight. As someone that doesn’t get motion sick it’s hard to tell if it will be comfortable for everyone, but the HUD and clever UI effects should help battle that vertigo feeling. Luckily for me, I went full-speed at all times and felt amazing. You position your hands much like Iron Man would then pull the PS Move controller triggers, meaning the thrusters come out of your palm, not where you point your fist. While flying this means you rest your arms at your side, hands near your waist, and twist your wrists to steer while flying. It looks ridiculous, but feels amazing.
I play Afterburner, I don't want some halfassed garbage.
Liam Johnson
Is this an actual shill thread?
Bentley Peterson
I was so fucking excited, and then they revealed it was VR. Why? Why in the fuck would you do that? Cant we just have a good iron man game?
Jacob James
>customize Iron Man’s suit let me make my own suit and it's a day 1 buy
Ayden Young
He doesn’t wear a cape
Jack Walker
It's being made by Ryan Payton the guy whi was up Kojima's ass during MGS4, if it has an open world free roam that might be interesting, i guess i have to buy those move controllers if I want to make something with Dreams
Robert Lewis
What cape?
Levi Morris
>VR
Aiden Martinez
more like COPEshit
Jonathan Sanchez
I know right? An Iron Man game in VR? Stupid. Yea Forums hates VR.
Ian Brown
>VR into the trash
Justin Barnes
>Why? user, is there another character you can think of that would more perfectly provide an environment where VR works better? Can Iron Man do melee attacks? Sure, but on the whole, he operates primarily with ranged attacks, and if you can customize which of those attacks you want from the Move controllers, being Iron Man isn't being Batman, Spidey or another ranged hero who doesn't include a full suit of armor than can protect him from most attacks against him. Fly to a point you'd like to attack from and go to town on your target. Has VR been spotty at best? Absolutely, but in the off chance that the devs intended to get it right because of the IP, "Why?" isn't really that hard of a question to ask.
vr is shit motion controls are shit 3d is shit touch screens are shit
Owen Myers
>I thought it was square enix game at first THAT is what hurt more than anything. I'm curious about the game, but I am dying to know what SE is doing with the Avengers IP.
Jackson Ramirez
>tfw you don't have Move Let me guess, no controller support? Fuck. I might have to try and get some second hand Move controllers.
Connor Hernandez
True, but VR still sucks. Maybe in another five years it could have worked.
Austin Foster
>VR still sucks. In general. I have absolutely seen it suck enormous cock much more often than not, but IMO the Ace Combat 7 VR was pretty damn killer.
Hunter Kelly
Oh boy, I can't wait to FEEL like Iron Man.
Gavin Cruz
>I thought it was square enix game at first >squeenix >online only >announced too soon and still no footage, at all There is a 100% chance is gonna be garbage
Sebastian Williams
Don't worry, with VR, this game will make you FEEL like Disney/Marvel Iron Man: Featuring Nick Fury from the Avengers subseries.
Justin Moore
>VR No. VR doesn't work, and it probably won't work in the next at least 10 years.
Charles Morales
Thoughts on the main suit? What other suits do you want to see? For me, it's MK I.
Anthony Clark
So what you're saying is, Sony had a chance to make an Iron Man game on the scale of Spider-Man, but turn it down for VR? Yikes doesn't even begin to express my shock.
Cooper Collins
"That Iron Man VR game just looks like a disappointing rail shooter." - general census of what I've heard from podcasts after it was announced.
Reality: It's a full, fun, and innovative game with customization of the suit and isn't just a rail shooter according to previews.
Aiden Wilson
Fuck Iron Man, give us a Captain Marvel game already
Actually cockpit\mechsiut\exoskeleton actually work in vr, this game could be amazing, now I just want a full fledged Gundam game with a great story set during the 1 year war
Hudson Ward
Final boss should be Hulk and obviously you fight him with the Hulkbuster. Even if it is a glorified on rails fight it would be the coolest shit ever, dodging the shit he throws at you and going through dozens of buildings. Just imagine that shit in VR...
Leo Bennett
The main suit looks like a Silver Centurion design, with the red/gold color scheme. I don't like it, but nowhere near the degree to which I didn't like the AC IronBatman costume, or Insomniac Spidey costume. It's worst offense is just being too bleh.
Personally I'd prefer Mk 6, pic related, or the actual comic Bleeding Edge design if possible.
Full 360 controls, wide linear air space. The move wands act as thrusters, and they have physics to them. Pointing the wands downwards will send you up. Early previews said it was difficult adjusting at first, but caught on pretty fast.
Lucas Morris
They were called Mobile Suit Gundam Side Story, this is literally the exact series that needs to be revived
If Yea Forums was around during the 90s >Oh cool a new metal gear game D graphics >Aye carumba, that's gonna be a pass!
Ryder Cooper
PSVR is fucking shit. The resolution is extremely low, and the graphics are shit. Remember that part at the beginning of Resident Evil 7 when you find the driver's license of the protagonist's girlfriend? In PSVR all you see is a blurry bunch of pixels. You can barely make out the face, and no text was even remotely visible. That's how shit it is. PSVR is a terrible waste of money and the only decent thing it's good for is porn.
Michael Cox
>New Earth separate from Spider-Man, even though Marvel said they we're aiming for a joint universe of games. >Pepper is CEO. >Tony is slacking in California >Ghost is still a woman
Colton Howard
It's $200 what do you expect, the resolution is low because the PS4 isn't that powerful, of course they're gonna sell PSVR 2 on PS5 with much better specs
