I'm sure this is a common TES feature. Even Daggerfal was "comfy". TES VI even if flawed will still be like that.

Skyrim is good albeit not for my tastes. Morrowind just gives so much freedom.

Main quest, sure, but the guilds and almost all of the sidequests were excellent.

Well, there's the obvious reason that Fallout is set in the middle of an apocolypse. Probably not a great place to raise a family.

Oblivion and Skyrim aren't bad, they're just huge disappointments.

Fallout 3 has a unique 50's look that's not really used in a lot of games. Oblivion looks exactly like every other fantasy game in existence.

Just two of them, the mages guild and the fighters guild were meh

The 'art' style was generic but the quests and characters were anything but, it's because Microsoft really bribed them into focusing devlopment on the 360 version after Morrowinds success on the OG xbox.
