What happened at all

Near the end of KH3, young xort tells you that "You've already paid the price" This never comes up in gameplay again, and it seems like hes bluffing, but actually hes referring to the TWEWY game price. Like Neku in the third cycle, you've paid the price of being connected to your friends, and now you're going to need to play the TWEWY game. During this same time Riku is in the Toystory universe, and his alternate self is there too. This means that both sora and Riku are in the same place at the same time, but in different dimensions. You can pick up on this more by looking at the reflections, riku's world and soras world have entirely different color warmths, but their reflections are of the other persons version.

Ok so, nomura has confirmed that the man making the heart, who is in SORA'S version, is the master of masters. Which could mean hes the game-host this time around, and alludes to a plan to make KH appear in the TWEWY universe. Or to the fact that the master of master thinks it's possible.

Yozora being in riku's world is less substantial, it doesn't tell us much about what that might mean, one popular theory is that there will be two simultaneous games where Riku and Sora are both searching eachother and are LITERALLY in the same place but over the course of the game realize they are unable to meet. Riku being spun into a false/fake world based on yozora, and Sora being occupied in the real version of the world by the master of masters hosting a game.

So why isn't that just random BS speculation, how could you possibly think that? Simple, the inclusion of Yozara. The setup of the toystory world was the exact same, so we know its possible to do that in the KH universe and since it's possible, if anyone could do it again, it'd be the master of masters, it also fits the theme of TWEWY quite well. Sora literally can not meet his friends again as his price.

Disney works because it feels like Sora is there for the entire "story" of the world for the most part (the worlds where he comes in and is just a small part of the adventure aren't the norm) but a whole game about Sora only experiencing a small chunk of a bigger adventure would feel unsatisfying.

I think they're going to be the main villains of whatever story extension KH3FM brings because I don't think people particularly care or are intrigued enough by them. Literally 95% of the fanbase have not played the mobile games or watched back cover, they have no idea who these people are and couldn't care less.

Even knowing who they are and having seen the games/movie I don't think they're interesting characters at all. KH4 needs to be a fresh start in more ways than this.

I mean, it's not like there's this big chunk of time between Kairi fucking dying and her being back on the beach before Sora evaporates. It's basically the same thing as the extra Aqua bit in BBSFM but bigger and likely used as an explicit lead into the secret movie/KH4.
