I already have: >Bloodstained CotM >Draagon Marked for Death >Gunvolt Striker Pack >Thumper >Hollow Knight >Snake Pass >Save me Mr Tako >The Messenger >Axiom Verge >Celeste >Darkest Dungeon >Shantae and the Pirate's Curse >Kamiko >Shovel Knight >Blaster Master Zero >Golf Story >Wonder Boy and the dragon's trap >I am Setsuna >Enter the Gungeon >The Mummy Demastered >Slain Back From Hell >Steamworld Dig 2 >Steamworld Heist >Stardew Valley >Mighty Gunvolt Burst
You already have a pretty good bulk of them. Here's more, in no particular order, both currently out and releasing at some point:
-Katana Zero (soon) -Darkwood (soon) -Windjammers -Cave Story+ -Hyper Light Drifter - Special Edition (it has the alt drifter, absent from the PS4 version) -The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth†(yet another expansion for it will be released on all platforms at a later date, be prepared to wait a lot) -Unruly Heroes -Nuclear Throne
In my opinion the last truly good and cohesive Shantae game is Pirate's Curse. If you already own that, just skip the rest for now. I don't like the aestetic direction they're going towards and i don't think gameplay wise they topped PC so far.

>silksong's and cyber shadow's trailers are cool music and almost nothing but gameplay with just momentary flashes of other things the games offer before going back to even more gameplay Why are AAA trailers almost never this good?
Joshua Evans
Touhou genso wanderer Its really fun
Liam Bennett
Seems like a pretty decent game, why?
Charles Reyes
Its very cringe
Its fanbase even more so
Also in my own opinion, the gameplay isnt very good, but im used to better rpgs and bullet hells
Chase Kelly
>These titles Fucking indie devs
Benjamin Garcia
Fanbase, I don't really give a shit about, since I don't go on social media anyways and I don't know what people are. I just give certain games a chance before anything. I'll probably just pirate it.
Justin Anderson
Baba Is You Gris Half Genie Hero is a good game, it's just not as good as Pirate's Curse Undertale is unironically great
Brody Baker
Yea Forums used to love the demo and we had countless threads immediately after it's release, but then tumblr and the rest of the internet started to like it and brainlet contrarians on Yea Forums started sperging the absolute fuck out and caring about meaningless shit such as "hur fanbase dhurr".
Truth is, it's ok. It has it's nice moments, gameplay isn't anything to write home about. It's main actual problem is the price tag, it basically barely has no replay value aside doing 2 runs and that's it.
Gavin Foster
Yup. youtube.com/watch?v=eH-9vGV4FTw Maybe someone else will answer that. I honestly have no idea because I haven't played Pixel Dungeon. All I can say to you that I found it very addictive, challenging and, like already mentioned Ghost 1.0 this one, too, has some nice music.
>Gris C'mon son, it's not worth the money. It's pretty but that's it.
Nolan Jones
OK, I should stop with this ''names''. It's ridiculous.
Have you guys tried Tangledeep? It it good? I'm currently playing Chocobo Dungeons (not indie game, obviously) and I'm having a blast!
Robert Garcia
It was one of my favourite games of last year. I loved every second of it. Not every single game needs to be balls to the wall difficult.
Gavin Howard
>Not every single game needs to be balls to the wall difficult. No, but it does have to be mechanically interesting and have solid replay value to justify it's price. Too much smoke, not enough meat.
Lincoln Hernandez
Quest of Dungeons is legit great.
Matthew King
Honestly at its price right now I would say it's worth it since the dlc adds enough replay value
Ayden Ortiz
Agreed it's fun for that first playthrough but after that you'll never touch it
Gabriel Moore
Tangledeep is good. It's harder and more complex than Chocobo Mystery Dungeon though.
Blaster Master Zero 2 Iconoclasts Furi Dimension Drive Shikhondo RXN Raijin Reverie Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom Baba is You Horizon Chase Turbo Fast RMX Cuphead Danmaku Unlimited 3 Oniken Odallus Devil Engine Ittle Dew 2+
Would've mentioned a few more, but they're either unreleased or are technically not indie.

Niiiice! That's all I wanted to hear. Thanks! Developer seems like a cool guy. The Switch version had one bug (I think it was related to custom game mode, but I'm not 100% sure); I contacted him and his response was quick. Long story short, it was fixed in the update and he thanked for the support and patience. Would love to see a sequel.
While on the subject... I completely forgot to ask this. Are Steamworld Dig and Steamworld Heist connected in any way? I mean, is it necessary to play all of them to understand what's going on? I saw that the new game is coming out soon (Quest). What caught my intention was card-based combat.
Oliver Scott
They're connected, but you don't really have to play Dig or Dig 2 to understand anything in Heist. It's pretty much explained in the intro. I doubt it'll be necessary for Quest either.
Jack Sanders
Thanks Yea Forumsro!
Aiden Scott
I wonder what the chances of King Knight being released the day of E3.
Joshua Lee
This is the police and stardew valley are great
Hudson Cox
Steamworld Dig 2 was great. If you have a Switch you need to play it.
I don't recommend the first though.
John Gray
You guys kind of have me interested in Tangledeep now. PC versus the Switch though? I am guessing it controls fine using the numpad on PC. How are the Switch controls? I mean games like One Way Heroics had great gamepad controls so it can be done. How is it here?
Isaac Nguyen
Three-to-six runs actually, but you're correct (unless by run you mean all three routes, in which case you are absolutely correct), it's more worth the money on Steam, portability doesn't add much to the game
Isaac Bell
>I don't recommend the first though. I do. It's pretty short but perfectly nails the atmosphere and is super fun to play through more than once. Just wait for a sale. It gets discounted often enough.
Henry Brown
Hyper Light Drifter my guy.
Grayson Howard
I waited and waited and WAITED for them to fucking patch the alt drifter into the PS4 version, but they just never did. So i just gave up and got the Switch version.
I mean it's a small detail to most people, but for me i liked that game so much i absolutely needed to get a version that had all the content, it was bothering me too much that i was missing out on this specific thing for no reason.
Thanks for this thread, Baba is You reignited my desire for interesting Indies
I've bought Yoku's Island Express lately and it's very interesting so far, it's a pinball metroidvania
Robert Thomas
Overcooked 1 & 2 are great.
Joshua Brooks
Into the Breach Mulaka (if you really like 3D zelda games only) Baba is You Bomb Chicken (if you like platformers) Battlechef Brigade if you want some fun anime match-3 times
Noah Howard
I just started it and its fun. Go for it.
Jose Brown
Can anyone give me their thoughts on Regalia, Super Dungeon Tactics, or The Warlock of Firetop Mountain? I'm feeling the rpg itch and want something meaty. Or just a recommended rpg in general.
