All this shit about Epic Store did make me appreciate it more then before simply for showing me the horrobile alternative if it weren't for Vavle and their lazyness. They're no saints by any means and did bring a boatload of crap into the pc market, yet still almost infinitley better then what Epic is trying to create.

I'm not really happy with the direction Valve took. But I still play a lot of games and mods their engine made possible and I know they have potential. If they can improve VR they'll be redeemed IMO.

He turned Russia into one of their highest markets after everyone else stopped trying since they just pirated everything. Once he made everything easily accessible to them and applied affordable regional pricing a lot of them just stopped pirating. Meanwhile, Epic ditched PC entirely in the 2000s since everyone just pirates everything according to Tim. Now he comes back tossing vbucks around whilst parading it's all about lowering the cut and Valve should lower theirs while he continues passing millions of dollars in free money to greedy AAA publishers
