Because it has soul.♠️

Good game design.

It's good.

because boomers refuse to die off and pass the torch to the next generation of game developers.

Your fortune: Good Luck

If only it DID have 2004 graphics, then it would have taken half the time to develop and we'd have another game as well.

It's focused on being a good videogame first and foremost.💯

It's a way shittier than a game from 15 years ago. Literally full of flaws. The graphics ain't that interesting either. Photorealism sucks the soul out of every video game. They literally took out reversals and the old level design since some retard bitched about it. No wonder Kamiya and Itagaki make better games than Itsuno.

It's what people begged for

>feels like a game from 2004 in every way except graphics.
what other modern games feel like early or mid 2000s games?

Idk if you've noticed but there's a small trend in Japan games to go back to focusing on basics instead of chasing western trends as hard as they did last gen

>this idiot things grapical assets are the reason games take a long time
HEUAHEUAEHUEAEA

>old bad, new good
If you say the game feels like a game from 2004 that's unironically a good thing. Especially when you look at the games that came out in 2004.♨️

They are though. In terms of sheer man-hours required, rendering an entire games worth of 4K-quality textures, models, geometry etc. is the vast majority of the work.

Boomers will only die and pass the torch when the next generation is old enough to become Boomers themselves. The Boomer shall never die. You are only young for a short time, and then a Boomer for the rest of your life.

Capcom got rid of that fraud Inafune and realized Japanese games are great. Seriously fuck that guy and his 10 years of awful influence on that company.

Decolonization of Capcom. Inafune was all about destroying Japanese culture and replacing it with western.

I wouldn't say it's full of flaws, but yes it is a flawed game
Level design is not interconnected like previous games, Devil Hunter (normal difficulty) is too easy, game hands out Gold orbs way too much for some odd reason, and the story is disappointing (Urizen shouldn't have been Vergil), V lacks moves could've used a couple of more cane moves,
Other wise to me the game was good, better than 4 I would say

This is the one true Boomerpill

People live a long time, dumbass.

Missions 5, 12, 15, and 16 are the most open levels in the series though. There are several different routes/ways to beat each of those. Anyone who accuses it of being more linear than 3 or 4 hasn't replayed the game or paid much attention. 3 and 4 sometimes had you backtracking down a linear path, or maybe the corridor you were going down looped back on itself, but they never gave you completely different paths to take like 5 does.
