design wise some of my favorite tomboys are misty, sf sakura, all the girls from saotome senshu, tomo-chan, kanbaru from bakemonogatari, nanasaki from amagami, and obviously chie. I tend to prefer shorter messy hair. medium boobs are best. brown or tanned (especially tanlines showing how often she wears a swimsuit/sports clothing is ++++++) are the best. abs and delicious thighs are obviously also appreciated
personality wise she has to be genki as fuck. a lazy tomboy is a paradox. I'm partial to sporty tomboys, especially runners and martial artists. not a fan of the "tomboy is insecure about not being feminine enough" trope, but there's also nothing wrong with her dressing up every once in a while to remind people she's a cute girl, as long as it doesn't go overboard. sundresses are a fantastic middle ground
