Imagine if someone wanted to make old school RPGs like Gothic but then decided after making all the base components for skills scrapped it and said there would be no personal progression markers and just left the base mechanics in.
Then gave it Dark Souls combat, made it worse for difficulty.

The swamp itself is kinda fucking cancer, but the city is rad. Out of all the areas I've been to so far I enjoyed the swamp the least in regards to actually exploring and navigating it, almost everything about that zone is annoying.
