Call me a retard boomer idgaf but I feel metal is dead. Modern metal even by old bands is so full of digitalised compressed shit, it all sounds horrible despite the playing being genuine and feeling dynamic and real. From new bands, it all sounds like shit and the playing is too technical and formated almost like robots. They've completely lost the sense of freedom and rock and roll that metal used to have in its sound and performance.
