Coming from RE newbie who just finished RE:Remake and now playing RE4, I like the gameplay/control change. I like the over the shoulder tps better than truck control. But the atmosphere in 4 is too bright. It doesn't even scary. RE:Remake atmosphere is many times scarier. I understand what people said when it feels more like action shooter than survival horror. In the endI like some parts of both game, that's why RE:Revelation is my favorite RE so far. It combines the best of both world. Plus that juicy Jill butts.

7 was stale. Capcom's writing has taken a dive into the shitter. Their past games wasn't that flaccid.

I've gotten to castle. Up to when Ashley were trapped on the wall. Still too bright and spacious to me. I prefer the dark and narrow corridor of Revelation. Is the lab at least scarier than this?
