build quality of the dualshock 3 is awful. Also, dualshock 2 has pressure-sensitive buttons that they dropped with DS3 onwards. DS3 triggers feel like shit, too, and battery life is absolute garbage which kind of necessitates being wireless.

and i have 1000s of hours on ps3 and only went through 1 controller
and it was used when i got it
most durable controller i'v had with 360 been the worst
went through dozens of 360 controllers and a few ps2 controllers

The glossy finish feels terrible in your hands during play and the lack of analog triggers makes it useless for any game that would use them.
