Found one of those pieces of equipment that can very rarely drop from elites. This one halves your health and transfers it into shields. Also your attacks proc electric balls that detonate after a second. And no, you cannot activate it

Having experienced 4 goat hooves and whips I can't imagine how fast those guys that altar of ordered themselves 15 of each are going.
The hoof clopping was almost constant and the animation was starting to bug out. Syringe and mag printers early on do wonders for helping huntress hit the ground running, shame we ended up obliterating ourselves because the rest of these guys had no unlocks.

As a side note, has anyone been experiencing a bug where you get stuck very slightly in the ground when you spawn in a new level? It wasn't happening to me but it made our commando quit early on and it happened again to the mul-t after we looped but I haven't fucked with any files.

Also for all the lads I'm seeing playing as Merc that aren't doing it; you can sprint while doing M1 and your swing arc is large enough to almost hit behind you. Really helps when you fuck up your infinite air combo.

Beginner trap, feels powerful early on but shits the bed really quickly mostly due to no mobility and her M1 being ammo based

Shift is kind of hard to hit unless you have really good jumps/flight and you have to time it right to blow up the big enemies. m2 is also hard to aim at moving enemies especially airborne because it travels so slowly and R is super short range. If you can get some mobility items she is really fun

She's really fun but doesn't synergize well with a lot of items and is a little dependent on getting some to really shine especially the further you get. Not having any escapes and a trash cc also sucks but once you're good with her you can delete enemies fast enough that it doesn't matter.

Your shift is an execute and mediocre cc. Try to alternate between 2 m1's and a charged m2. Unless you know you aren't going to get fucked by a boss attack (lasers, explosion, the SUCC, e.t.c.) R isn't really worth it on bosses but it's amazing for clearing out trash.

Sounds good when paired with fuel cells and something like disposable missiles.

His proc rate is 0.4 to compensate for his naturally high attack speed, hopoo said that he isn't OP in that regard

Level 4 has at least one guaranteed in a small cave and probably more that are just out in the open.

FYI for people who don't know. The big red circle around the teleport after it's active? STAND IN THAT. Or kite the enemies in it as best you can. If the bosses are still up, it'll charge the tele to 99%, but at that point the respawn of random adds is dramatically decreased. You won't get swarmed with quite as many blazing golems in the higher runs.

Syringe + crit glasses + crowbar + bleed. It's my one gripe with the game as every build seems very samey and dependent on that setup for damage whereas the first game had several avenues for blowing up the screen.

She's just got zero mobility, so unless you cola/leg her up early, she's going to be nuked, and even still you're going to need yet more items to just get her 'running' at later stages, where most others at that point should be taking anything extra as gravy.

Yup. As much as he's my second favorite character from 1 (sniper number one fight me faggot) not being on a 2d plane means his snail trail is useless and since enemy density is way lower compared to 1 his infection spreading will suck. 3d seems very ranged biased no matter how fun merc is and even then he's only really good because he has amazing mobility.

>MUL-T is rape machine and gives no fucks. He can change playing styles based off of what items he gets unlike everyone else, making him hyper adaptable.
>Engineer shines once he gets fungus and uke, the fact that his turrets gets every one of his items makes them edge into the later parts of the game far better then the drones you can recover.
>Mercenary, uke, life seed. Nearly unkillible and once you get extended mags never touches the ground.
>Commando's just works. No range issues, has rapid hit on demand, and penetrating shot has it's uses. Shame about his roll though.
>Huntress just feels...weak. her shots never feel like it's dealing enough for how slow, and how shitty her range is. Running while shooting has it's uses, but half the time trying to keep focus onto something at high speeds will ether break the lock, or break your running.
>Mage should be better, she really should, but while the damage is there, nothing else is. M1 as ammo's trash. M2's her only real range skill as a result, and her ice wall and flamethrower don't do enough for mass mobs.

Mul-T isn't actually overpowered, it's just scrubs whining. He does need to be patched due to the one bug with that Q item (the crit one, I forget the name), but otherwise, he's really just a superior Commando and a great all-rounder. He hits fast, he has a viable long range option, he has a lot of possible builds depending on what items you get, and he has a great avoidance skill that also doubles as a stunning skill, and his M2 is solid. He's not overpowered, but he's just solid and easy to use, which is probably why people think he is.

Really is anything, the other characters need some buffs. Artificer is straight up dog shit with only a very few items being good on her, Commando needs a bit of a buff and i-frames on his dodge, Fire enemies need a nerf in general (which is a buff for Merc), Merc needs some extra invulnerability on his dashes and his wombo combo (some skills can still hit him during it), Engie lives and dies by his turrets because his main attack and mines are pretty garbage, and Huntress just needs a few quality of life changes in general. Mul-T is really the only guy that is right out of the gate 100% solid.

How do I unlock Extended Mags?

Just did a run with Artificer for the first time and I am really not sure about that character. It just felt like the enemies are bullying you the entire time.

I wish I could take credit for that webm, but I'm still learning and can't kill wisps yet. Maybe one day

It procs fine I found, and if you can somehow get her a 1/256 chance of dropping elemental gear, she starts to nuke really well. Problem is of course getting said drop playing as her, and then still getting all of the other items in turn. She's at least fun to screw around with and now with that one mod lewd up in EZ MODO, but she really just can't do harder difficulty's worth a damn.

There isn't a single 16 player lobby that had made it to stage 20. I'm doubtful that there's one that's even done 2 finished loops. It is much more difficult (read: tedious) than doing it alone.

Engi's m1 and m1 are fine. If anything the mines could use a small buff but overall they're excellent for clearing trash and acceptable on bosses. Each grenade seems like it has its own proc chance and people just aren't aggressive enough with mines but I still think they could maybe use a slight damage boost.

I do really hope that instead of having the shitty mindset of nerfing things people whine about they just bring everything else up to par (unless it's actually broken).

She's beyond rough. Maybe she'll become viable if we get the settings back to make enemies drop chests and you get to choose what items you want from them, but as is, she is objectively the weakest character by a long shot. She can't even make a go of it with random shit like most characters can, she'll just get shit on unless she gets a ton of mobility items to help her actually avoid things.

The fact her M1 is limited to only 4 shots is in and of itself a horrible joke as attack speed will not recharge it any faster (but you need attack speed to make her M2 good), and you're absolutely fucked if you don't find a 3D printer for the item that lets you stack up M2's. Her ice wall is flat out trash and needs to be replaced entirely. Her R requiring close range is just the final bit of shit icing on this ass cake.

This year is pretty blessed on that front actually. Aside from the one or two shitposters, all the big comeback games like AC7, DMC5, RE2, etc have been pretty great. I honestly can't believe that I actually have a ton of games I want to play again for the first time in years. Risky rain 2 has been cutting into my backlog time too.

Apparently only the host can buy her. If you're not the host, even if you enter the shop, she'll just not be there. Something about how the host's the one it's checking data for (such as possible pickups/gear allowed to spawn) while the client data's only used on selection, but otherwise is ignored.

It's actually a bug. I've been in a match with 2 randoms when I was getting her. Both me and the other guy who were getting her were not host and we got her on two separate runs.

if you see the text "a celestial orb has appeared" or whatever when you enter the level then you'll know you will find it. when you activate the teleporter and after you kill the boss/charged the teleporter, the portal will spawn

it'll be right next to the teleporter after you complete the stage.

The lag isn't super horrible if you compare it to RoR1 where you get killed by shit you can't even see and none of the sprites matched up with where the enemies actually are.

9 hours into the game isn't much, just keep playing.
but if you're looking for spoilers: during stages 7+ there's a chance for a celestial portal that will spawn after the boss is killed and the teleporter is charged. you'll know it'll show up when you see the text "a celestial orb has appeared" is shown at the start of the level. after you kill the boss and the teleporter is charged up a portal will spawn, go through that and you'll have the opportunity to unlock the merc by obliterating yourself

Thoughts on a perk system?
Every three lvls you can select a perk that will augment/change how a character's skill works. Think of it like the system in Heroes of the Storm and Diablo 3 skill runes
Modifications like:
>Energy blast: Huntress Blink leaves a small vacuum that sucks in mobs for 0.5s
>Tactical Roll: Commando roll ensures next attack is a critical
>Blazing Sword: Merc dash leaves a trail of burning fire that deals DoT damage

The turrets are not turning off, they are targeting enemies which are below them but they cant hit, so they just sit there doing nothing.

Never place your turrets in a position where an enemy can sit below it without being shot by it, or the turret wont work.

for the naturopath achievement (complete the third level without healing) does that include passive regen or any type of regen items? essentially can i get hit or not

Pretty sure I've seen this happen to ground level turrets. Truth to be said I've also seen enemies clip through the ground so you might not be wrong
